Coming from Baltimore ... couldn't agree more. It was on the downslide as early as the late 70's and didn't take long til it was a complete shithole.

It got so bad in some areas that emergency services refused to go into certain areas like Pratt street near the harbor.

It's a shame, I remember when Baltimore was a decent place even though the crime rate was a little higher than most places.

Maryland is a beautiful state and the people there are really nice if you take away Baltimore. Same with Illinois if you take Chicago out of the picture.

Some cities do for sure, but there are some nice ones. Here in Texas, San Antonio and Fort Worth are really nice, Houston minus the traffic and humidity is nice as well. Dallas sucks. Austin has some really nice places but most of the people are wierd as fuck. In California, Los Angeles, Oakland and San Francisco are total shitholes. San Diego is pretty nice. Atlanta minus the bullshit that just happened there is nice.
