All night fireworks for a week now...

When I was young, I took a road trip to stock up on a bunch of the good shit from out of state. I had to spend a grand to get wholesale prices. Came back home and made a killing...the good old days.
Same here man. I go up to a place in new Hampshire right around the end of January. Just long enough into the winter to make the thought of a good sale seem extra juicy. 1000$ cash will net you 4/5x that in old stock that isn't a hot seller. I filled the back of an e-150 about 8 years ago. All I will say is a handful of weeks later the cops were involved and I had some apologies to hand out throughout the neighborhood.

My brother in law and I decided one year that the neighborhood would benefit from being woken up with a volley of mortars, on Christmas at dawn. Yeah, we can thank a Christmas keg for that idea....

And I still have a few laundry baskets full of them from a purchase like three years ago, assorted chaos awaits for the fourth. We should make a fireworks thread and post videos of our shows. Some of them can get pretty wild in my end. I know you guys probably have a night here and there that rivals a local revolutionary battle...

New Hampshire always has the good stuff.

I'm on the other side of the country and have always been able to handle myself. I would've had to use old mindless as a pogo stick had he tried to push up on me...
He doesn't want to push up on you. He wants to push up in you. Or at least he did when you were younger.

Seems to be slowing down...still never found the reason as to why. The ones they were setting off were loud as hell...the expensive ones too I usually get across the river in PA...that was definitely an expensive show of display for whoever

Exploding firework mangles man’s hand, cops say

"A man suffered serious injuries in a fireworks accident on Sunday night in Gloucester County, police said.

Washington Township police and EMTs responded to the Amesbury Farms development just after 7 p.m. for a report that a fireworks mortar exploded in a man’s hand, township police said.

They found the victim bleeding heavily with “severe hand trauma.”

He was taken to Cooper University Hospital, Camden, for treatment.
The incident remains under investigation.

Residents in towns around the state and across the nation are complaining about an increase in random fireworks being set off at all hours in recent weeks.

Jersey City has reported a 3,466% increase in fireworks-related complaints this year over 2019.

The issue prompted Gov. Phil Murphy to take time during a coronavirus press conference last week to remind people that fireworks are dangerous and against the law in New Jersey.

While “certain sparkling devices and novelties” are permitted under state law, many fireworks remain illegal without a permit.

In addition to safety, authorities have called the recent problem a quality of life issue. Police statewide have vowed to step up enforcement."

My kids friend blew apart his hand a couple years back. Lost a finger and has a mangled Jason Pierre Paul looking thing going on. I'll try to get picks. He owns an exhaust shop so it's not too bad of an injury lol
