ASF down for routine maintenance?

I’m staying away from that forum from now on. Why did do they require cookies to be turned on? Too much shit going on over there

That's standard practice for many websites.
If you have cookies disabled you may not be able to log into the site. i know that happens with some of the sites (non AAS) i use.

There should be an option in your browser settings to clear saved cookies. When i use that option i have to log back in to all the sites that otherwise remember me. Including Meso.

Did you read anything in this thread? Why would anyone go on ASF when it’s owner is facing federal charges and sold out his partners at Blackstone Labs. Is that good and safe in your mind?

If you like ASF stay there. Be complacent to forgeries. Ignore the newbies and their “Another TD - this fear pins so smooth I can tell it’s fyre!” posts. Let the mods delete threads. Maybe The Admin will rat himself out of serving any time at all. But if he goes to prison do you think ASF will continue operating? Then what?

I have seen these 'maintenance' outages over there before, very rare... but never as screwy as this. Could it be the feds really are installing tracking software? The timing is sure interesting since Rob was supposed to be sentenced just 3-1/2 weeks ago? Hmmm

He told us in the mod section a week ago this was coming. But he said there shouldn’t be any board disruptions. I’m curious as to why the board has been down now for 2 days. I can’t recall it ever being down longer than a day. The timing is impeccable.

But to expand on what you said. "They" are everywhere...we'd be naive to think otherwise. Tbh, it has made me question how much I really need to be doing this. For the most part, it's just socializing plain and simple. I'll pickup something every once in while to file away and forget later. The big big big difference is that the board owner here 1) merely tolerates sources 2) doesn’t charge them for thread presence. Oh and 3) isn’t being indicted and looking for a plea deal. 3rd one being the really big difference.
