Path to a 500 wilks

SexHave you tried a lower bar rest position? Basically hold with the fingers instead of the palms?

I was going to start doing that when I work in deads again. I was told that apparently I'm creating a skin fold in my hand that actually makes the bar roll easier. Hopefully training my grip for awhile and changing my grip placement will finally help me hit 700.
 
Weight today was 205.2

Workout was,

3x8 beltless sgrdl
3x12 belt squats
4x8 weighted pullups
4x12 reverse fly
4x5 strict curl
4x12 ez bar curl SS band curls
3x12 standing calves
3x20 seated calves
3x15 sec barbell hold


Finally decided to get a coach to prep me for nationals. Figured since I'm a felon I would go with jailhouse strong. Lol. Only seems fitting. Hopefully the guy knows his stuff. A buddy referred me to him.
 
Prior to starting my current cycle I was thinking of running their 8x8 off season powerlifting template for hypertrophy. It looked really good I just didn’t have all of the equipment needed in my home gym. Steve Johnson(forsaken warrior)swears by them and the dude is pulling 1000lbs on a trap bar routinely for doubles.

I've heard some good things about Bryant from a couple people. Won't actually start with him until Tuesday though. I asked him if I could be benching 400+ by nationals. He said, "If you actually put in the work". Lol. That was all the selling I needed.

He absolutely does, been to a seminar he did. Good dude, pretty accomplished coach and lifter in his day.

3x10 cable pushdowns SS band pushdown
3x8 standing calves
3x12 seated calves
3x30 sec barbell hold

Starting the new programming Thursday. So this is probably the last workout with my program. Will be interesting to see how different they are.

Juarez valley pushups
Had to google those push ups... love it. For the pump and a push another one I like is ladder pushups with barbell and rack start low work up then back down. Got that from a meadows program

Kind of gave me flashbacks of doing card pushups in the clinc. Lol. Forgot how tough those can get when you're the only one cheering yourself on. Lol

Neutral grip pullup amraps
Dbell bulgarian split squats
Single leg rdls
Juarez valley squats
Weighted planks

Turned the heat off in the gym and even at 30° I was still sweating by the end of those juarez valley squats. Lol.
