Have you tried a lower bar rest position? Basically hold with the fingers instead of the palms?Weak grip. Could probably pull 700 if I could hold onto it.

Prior to starting my current cycle I was thinking of running their 8x8 off season powerlifting template for hypertrophy. It looked really good I just didn’t have all of the equipment needed in my home gym. Steve Johnson(forsaken warrior)swears by them and the dude is pulling 1000lbs on a trap bar routinely for doubles.
He absolutely does, been to a seminar he did. Good dude, pretty accomplished coach and lifter in his day.Weight today was 205.2

3x8 beltless sgrdl
3x12 belt squats
4x8 weighted pullups
4x12 reverse fly
4x5 strict curl
4x12 ez bar curl SS band curls
3x12 standing calves
3x20 seated calves
3x15 sec barbell hold
Finally decided to get a coach to prep me for nationals. Figured since I'm a felon I would go with jailhouse strong. Lol. Only seems fitting. Hopefully the guy knows his stuff. A buddy referred me to him.

Had to google those push ups... love it. For the pump and a push another one I like is ladder pushups with barbell and rack start low work up then back down. Got that from a meadows programWeight today was 202.2

I've heard some good things about Bryant from a couple people. Won't actually start with him until Tuesday though. I asked him if I could be benching 400+ by nationals. He said, "If you actually put in the work". Lol. That was all the selling I needed.
Keep up the weight gain and 400+ will be a given.
