Gonna brew a few 60ml vials and I’ve read that a bunch of guys use a chaulking gun with a 60ml syringe to make it easier. Do you guys prefer any specific carrier oils as far as ease going through the whatman? I assume cottonseed might be more difficult than MCT. wondering if 70/30 GSO will go through easily or is mct easier to work with. I guess I’ll invest in a vacuum setup down the road but figure I’d start slowly.

The tren I made the other day was cso only and wouldn't hold so I cut with gso. Not quite 70 30 but basically same thickness. I much prefer a little extra work for something that my body really like. No bumps and swelling that may sometimes make me feel bad. Hell sometimes I can't even tell where I pinned last to rotate. Use what your body likes and put the work in.
I just went through the same stuff and @TrennedOutLunatic walked me through it all.

260 had to drop to 220 ultimately. Cso wouldn't hold. I'm sure a little eo would have fixed it though. Every combination has it limits

After you mentioned using EO as only carrier oil I did a little research and concluded the only reason more people don’t do this is simply price. It’s a great carrier and I’ve always loved it. I may go 50/50 GSO/EO just to save money unless I find it cheaper.

I brew with 80/20 ratio (MCT/GSO) and filtered using a chalking gun and 0.2 whatmans.
Regardless of the oil, the key is to pump the chalking gun, don’t be constantly squeezing it. I used a 60ml syringe, and I worked my way thru it with 1ml increments from each squeeze of the chalking gun.
If you try to constantly squeeze the gun, you’ll burn urself out. Give the gun a squeeze to push down 1-2ml, wait 2 seconds, then squeeze again. You’ll get thru it in no time this way.

Best advice. Buy the expensive gun. Do not buy the one that cost like 5-7 bucks. You will thank me later lol
