Thinking of using deca for the first time. Looking for some insight.

19-nors suppress you more than bioidentical testosterone or even masteron. My point is it is often better to use a shorter relative ester of 19-nor to testosterone, so if you drop everything at once (emergency or planned) you don't suffer as much of a crash. I'd rather be coming down with testosterone higher while the 19-nors reach clearance halflife. Mathematically speaking, nandrolone phenylpropianate will clear around 27 days. Testosterone enanthate will clear in, approximately, 63 days. Using a 6 half-life rule. Another 6 halflifes to true recovery. Most people don't do a real PCT. We just tend to come off and not give two fucks if enough clearance has occurred. Instead, it's wise, especially for older men who don't have as much bodily resilience as they once did, to be aware of clearance of the drug and final recovery. I'm using 6 half-lives to be conservative. I shoot HCG from the last shot so any atrophy is reversed and muscle mass is hardly even lost. Remember Rich Piana? If I had a cycle with deca, I'd cut it out and use testosterone a while longer ( couple weeks), so I don't suffer as many sides in the 4 weeks after the cycle.

I woke up today and my back was all jacked up. I don’t know how but I tweaked the shit out of it. That is probably why I felt weak as fuck on deads but I did feel really good on the SSB. 380lbs was a very easy PR single but I never actually tried to PR the SSB either so there’s that.

Also, work has been crazy busy and my hours are all over the place. Probably totaled about 4 hours of sleep and I missed a meal today. Just felt like shit but am trying to just keep chugging along. I was pretty spent after today’s session.

Today was another four hours of sleep night and again my body is feeling run down but obviously with the lack of sleep that is not going to get any better. Back is still all types of fucked up but I don’t think it is something too serious..... Well, I hope it’s not..... I PR’d again today. The highest I have ever done on close grip bench previously was 315lbs for a double. So I guess that is the good out of a shitty feeling week so far. Tomorrow is just a pull day and there are now heavy main lifts so I am hoping that lets me recover a bit for squat day and possibly let the back heal a little. I don’t really know if PR’ing my accessories the week prior to my heaviest main lifts is a good idea but figured I would be too spent afterwards.

Back still feels like garbage so I went lighter and less sets on shrugs. Surprisingly it wasn’t too bad on bent over rows. Felt strong on some exercises today and not so much on others. It was an ok day I guess. Got about 4 hours of sleep and then a 2 hour nap. I am hoping my back is better for tomorrow’s squat session. I have stiff leg deads written down as a top joker set of 415lbs and 455lbs. 455lbs for stiff legs on a deficit would be a PR. Going to see how the back feels tomorrow especially after squats.

Hands are still swollen and now they are starting to tingle every now and then. I am highly considering dropping the mk677. I am thinking that it is the cause for it. Even my wrist watch is feeling tighter on the regular notches. Body composition seems to be improving, although little by little. I took photos after today’s session and my back looks massive as fuck in one of the pics.

I also forgot to mention that on Wednesday’s injection I added .1ml more of deca. My reasoning being is that I don’t want to leave a half empty vile of deca laying around and untouched, most likely for more than a year. I probably don’t think I will run a similar cycle in the future(ED issues and less than stellar results compared to other runs). I am happy I did try deca though. I have npp and have ran it previously and am preferring that over deca as of right now. So current dosing is as follows:

Deca 125mgs M/W/F = 375mgs week
Test 150mgs M/W/F = 450mgs week
Mast 140mgs M/W/F = 420mgs week
Tbol 50mgs daily split twice
Mm677 30mgs at night(might drop soon)
.5mgs arimidex EOD
20mgs nolva EOD non arimidex days

I will be continuing the deca this week and next week and will keep the test and mast the same for the following two weeks. Eventually I will be dropping the mast, tapering the test back down to trt(150mgs a week), and following my trt protocol which is ran concurrently with .5mgs of arimidex twice a week as well as 500ius of hcg twice a week.

Just FYI, I get ED issues unless 2:1 tests:deca. So right now 375 deca means 750 test. No issues.

It’s just so fucking weird. My npp cycle was 100mgs test prop, 100mgs mast prop, and 100mgs of npp pinned EOD and I never experienced anything like this regarding ED. It is definitely a learning experience and if I ever run deca again I will definitely be upping test. The deca will be dropped on March 5th but I will still be running the test and the mast the same dosing for at least two weeks so at this point I am just going to ride it out. I would assume 2 weeks after dropping the deca the ratio will then be about 2:1. I am actually thinking about consolidating the three injections (M/W/F) into just two injections(M/Th) because the volume of oil is going to be less and more tolerable.

What do you think about that?
 
I do have to say though, sex has been absolutely amazing between the both of us recently. She has increased her dose to 15mgs and is taking it split between 3 doses. Her cycle is going great. Her strength is shooting up and is seeing body comp changes daily.

Back is still absolutely fried. I didn’t do too well on my AMRAP set of squats and only got 7. On my stiff leg deads I just did the bare minimum reps for 375lbs which was supposed to 3+. Back feels like garbage and called the session after deads. I just wasn’t feeling it and was too run down.

I have previously failed 225lbs for 25 reps on bench a couple of times and was a goal to complete and I did it, so that is definitely a plus.

Going to take the next two days off and try to rest and recover as much as possible as well as meal prep for the week.

Looking forward to crushing next week either with weight PR’s or rep PR’s.
 
I wanted to post this on an off day in case I forget to in the middle of the week. I have added a couple of things supplement wise being that I have one week left and will taper down after that one week. I have added the following to my stack and will be running this for a minimum of four weeks.
Leviathan nutrition- IRE(helps support healthy cholesterol/hearth heath as well as helps regulate and optimize insulin)1 serving split twice a day.
Leviathan nutrition- Kidney(as the name suggest it is for kidney health and is supposed to support healthy filtration rates)1 serving split twice a day.
TUDCA- 250mgs twice a day for a total of 500mgs.

All of these added supports are in continuation with all of my other supports(cycle assist, red yeast rice, coq10, etc.). I will be dosing these along with my cycle support doses which are at meals #1 and #5 on training days and meals #1 and #4 on non training days.

Didn’t finish my usual chest workout that I had originally written down but quite frankly I did not give a fuck. I decided to take it slow, give myself some good rest between sets and went for a new PR and I am happy that I went off program and did it. 325lbs for 5 was moving like butter so I went for 365lbs and got it. It does leave me thinking that if I didn’t go for so many reps on 325, which is 90% of my training max, I may have gotten more. 365 was definitely a struggle though. It was also more than 100% of my training max. 280lbs on incline for 5 is a rep PR as well. My previous best was 280lbs for a triple.

I really want 500 for 5 tomorrow on deads but I guess we will see when I get there. I may go higher tomorrow too as I did today depending on how I am feeling. My lifetime PR on deads is 515lbs at a bodyweight of 191lbs. My best rep PR is 490lbs for five.

Sides are still the same. I did update my support stack on a previous post and so far there are no unwanted sides in regards to that.

Did the same as yesterday and took my time between sets and shortened the workout that I had originally written out. I will probably do the same for squat day too which is day #5. Kind of pissed but kind of happy. I wanted 500 for 5 but I am happy that I got it for at least 3 which is a rep PR. I decided to go for 525 but was spent and failed it. 500 for 3 brings my projected max to 550lbs so I thought I had 525. It just wasn’t happening today. Also 420lbs on the SSB is a new PR as well so kind of stoked about that.

I am starting to wonder where I would be at the end of this run if I opted to use tren instead of deca. I am thinking that I would be a lot stronger considering the strongest I ever was while on a cycle was test/tren/mast at 191lbs bodyweight. I am at least a good ten pounds heavier here. I am also thinking that this run would have been much better if my body fat was much lower than when I started. I simply let the holiday eating and drinking get way out of control prior to this run.

So far so good for the most part. Sides are still the same. Night sweats are still present. Some nights are worse than others though. Hands are a bit swollen and still feel a little bloated. My mental well-being is fine and I haven’t been sexual active with the wife in about two days but I am sure those sides are the same as well. Viagra is doing what it is supposed to do for the time being. Also the two days prior when I was banging the old lady I couldn’t finish for the life of me. Almost as if I was on tren. I’m sure the cycle and the addition of viagra are to blame. Didn’t mention it a couple of days ago but figured I bring it up to be as transparent as possible.

Looking to finish this week off strong. Tomorrow is day #3 and press day. Hoping to bang out 5 for the standing shoulder press at 205lbs and hopefully rep out 225lbs. My personal best is a sloppy and shaky 225 for a single.

Today was ok. 205lbs for 5 is a rep PR but I got a little too cocky and went for 235lbs and failed. It wasn’t even close. Maybe 3 to 4 inches off the shoulder and that was it. I felt I tweaked my shoulder doing it too. Stupid, but whatever it was done. Took it kind of easy and completely omitted the barbell upright rows.

Tomorrow is last “full” pin day. Meaning I will pin my usual dose tomorrow and then next week(Monday) I will taper the deca but keep the test and mast the same. I am thinking either .3 or .4 of deca will be pinned Monday and Wednesday. It all depends on how much is left in the vial. The total will probably be around 150-200mgs of deca for that week.

Tomorrow is the extra back day and then the next is squat day which I am kind of dreading already. If I can get 455lbs for 5 then I may attempt my training max which is 505lbs. It is not much of a PR but 5lbs is 5lbs.
