Anyone carry while wearing gym clothes?

One dilemma I've always had is carrying while wearing gym clothes, and I'm sort of in gym clothes more often than jeans and a t shirt. I carry owb. Anyone carry in gym clothes? I can keep the belt on my waist despite lack of belt loops, may see if I can get loops sewn on my gym shorts. Anyone?

Why do you need a gun at the gym.

Honest question.

Are you a giant pussy

Or a total asshole to everyone to the point you can't risk going out without one.

Not trying to be a dick, but aside from those 2 I see no reason to pack while doing squats or on a treadmill. I highly doubt you'll have to thwart and active shooter at your Goodlife fitness. Sounds like a good way for it to fall out resulting in an accidental discharge

For context, I love guns. I often keep one in my truck for bushwacking.

He said in gym clothes. Not at the gym. Calm your shit. You sound like a “I support the 2nd amendment but..” kind of guy. ;)

@Demondosage i carry in gym shorts and a T all the time. A well made kydex holster with adjustable loops and a claw will get it done. Obviously need gym shorts with a drawstring. But yes, def works.

Nah man, I'm not packing in a gym. I'm talking abt wearing gym clothes to and from, stopping at store or whatever rather than changing.

I do the belt around my waist without loops. I also use a holster with a little looser retention when I carry that way. Not ideal but it's rare I wear gym type clothes away from the gym.

No offense but i dont think anyone should have to justify their reason for practicing a constitutional right. But, i think the question was carrying in gym clothes, not carrying while actually working out.

and there was an incident here where a dnr officer i know was working out, and gunfire occured in the apt above the gym. Granted it wasnt IN the gym, and op probably wouldnt be obligated to intervene in a similar situation, but the point is anything can happen anywhere anytime. Luck favors the prepared.

Yeah I misread. And well I don't support it haha. I'm Canadian. I think the second ammendment is the most twisted and abused amendment in your constitution.

But I do fucking love guns and do believe that if you prove yourself capable and have undergone hours of safe practice and handle training. I see nothing wrong with packing. I also do agree with defending yourself against a tyrannical government though. Thats why I've got plenty of green tips and level 3a gear.

@Demondosage not sure what you carry but if it’s a full size that may be most of the issue lol. My g43 sits well enough to grocery shop or hang out somewhere in athletic shorts. Def better/more secure options than this too.

I had no idea it was called that haha
Well, gangster works for just tucking it in your waistband lol. Us concealed carry elitists with a holster made for carrying in that area call it appendix lol.

hear lots of “older” gun guys talk about shooting your dick off. Meanwhile tons of videos of guys shooting themselves in the ass reholstering. This way the gun is accessible, visible, and you can manage clothing and the holster easier on draw and reholstering.

kydex with ulticlip XL appendix carry is something I'd consider trying.

you can pretty much CC at a beach that way

also, get a tiny gun. sig P365 or hellcat. both are great.

I cc 24/7, anything from suit, through jeans, to gym clothes and beachwear, so I you have any questions lemme know, can PM you pictures and links of how I deal with that.

Currently carrying a S&W shield 9mm with owb alien gear cloak holster. I may see if I can find an IWB paddle type holster. Yea dude, glock 43 is a badass gun, actually the next one on my list

Gunfighters Inc Kenai chest holster. I've considered getting one for when I'm out and about. They have them on Amazon as well as their own site. Just put a zip Hoodie on or something. You'd lose speed but it'd be a secure comfortable carry
