For you folks who cap your own vials what method do you use to sterilize the rubber stoppers?

I've only done one brew but I simply followed the same method as the vials. Alcohol wash, sterile water rinse, followed by running it through the pressure cooker. No idea if that's the proper way but no abscesses yet

I was thinking of soaking them in isopropyl alcohol and then running them through a salad spinner to dry them off. Would sterilize the spinner first of course.

The "sterilization" comes from the alcohol evaporating, not the alcohol itself. So, coating them in alcohol then putting them in a hot - not hot enough to melt the rubber - oven to dry them quickly should be effective.

However, I would encourage you to consider buying pre-sterilized vials and just filling them if you're only making a few vials at a time...

What's the max temp they can take? Thanks brother.
This will be dependant on the individual product. You can email the manufacturer and explain you are looking to expose them to heat in the sterilization process for the "cosmetics" your making (or whatever)... Ask them what temperature the rubber is rated for... We don't want the rubber to degrade or break down at all, which would obviously jeopardize the efficacy of the seal, leading to possible leakage of non-sterile particles into the vials...

Again, to reiterate, if it was me... I would opt to buy pre-sterilized vials if possible.

I just rinse them with water first then I put them in ultrasonic cleaner with some distilled water then soak them in 99.9% pure IPA then I put them in my lab oven at low heat so alcohol will evaporate. Same process I do for vials just high hear for vials though.

Bro I've been using sterile vials since 2000 just never upped my game and done vials from scratch. I'm no newb to homebrewing bro, go to homebrew section and check out my suspensions ;)
