to add, I do not celebrate Memorial Day. Why would I celebrate that some naive kids died fighting a war to preserve "freedom" to which is actually fake or we wouldn't have been locked down, people wouldn't have been locked up for not quarantining when they had a cold?

I'm Canadian, and it kills me to see the direction things are going. I also have friends in the US in the same boat. The "golden" era is lost when your neighbors would watch out for you and your kids vs. call the cops on you for cutting your grass at 5pm or try to sell your kids meth.
Then again, I have not been home to Canada in 2 years because of this Covid shit and I live where it all started. But you want to see some crazy shit, watch them build an entire high speed route across the country here or a full subway line in under a year...where as back home its 4-6 years of just back and fourth bitching about it in parliament.
