Anybody smoke on cycle?

I accidentally started smoking again in 2017. Had quit since 2011-2012 and went to a concert, had a few drinks, and asked someone for a smoke. Was back to a pack a day the next day. Started vaping and smoking late that year, then went to only vaping, then quit vaping in early 2018. Haven't touched any form of tobacco or vaping since because I know I'd be right back to it.

Seems to hurt gym performance in my opinion, at least for strength training.

I've heard horror stories about vaping or is that just PR from anti tobacco?

The one benefit I receive from nicotine is it calms me down/ helps me sleep. I used to go days without sleep when I quit for six months.

If you want to curb hunger during a cut add some Adderall.

Ya I heard about people having collapsed lings from it. Young too. Never smoked but a few were ex smokers.

Thanks and yes, hadn't smoked at all in five years at that point. Girlfriend at the time was a smoker. Got drunk, cigarette looked good and bummed one and then had a few more over the course of the night. Bought a pack the next day and was right back to it.

Like you said hats off to those that can pick it up and put it right back down. I know some that only smoke when they drink. I couldn't do it.

Congrats on the quit! It seems like everyone has a different experience. Myself, I never thought it was easy. in the past i've quit in the morning, and by noon im digging through the shop trash can looking for that can of snuff. looking back, thats embaressing.

Oh I tried quitting tobacco a thousand times and rummaged for butts myself lol, but the last time was easy cause I though I had a heart attack and it put everything into perspective in a flash.

Paying $15 or more per day to slowly kill myself a very painful death no thanks. Same with booze, nothing good comes from the stuff and imho a bodybuilders lifestyle shouldn't include drugs aside from aas and the like.

I work with a fucking guy that smokes one cigarette every morning. That's it just one, every morning with this coffee. It boggles the mind, I'd be at 1-2 packs a day in no time

I’m talking about cigarettes, been smoking heavy for about 4 years. 1.5-2 packs a day. I frame houses for a living so being active all day has sort of curbed the effects, or so I like to think. Anyway I’m about 3 months back into lifting and about 7 weeks into my first cycle. I haven’t decreased my smoking and I smoke a lot of weed as well. I know it’s terrible and counterproductive but I can’t imagine quitting atm. Anyone else in a similar position?
I smoked for years man. I did a stretch in the joint and when I got out I went back to smoking for a while but obviously, with clean lungs, I could really tell how fast it was fucking me up. I switched to nicotine lozenges, which according to the box, you’re only supposed to use for 12 weeks. I’ve been out almost 4 years and I’m still using the lozenges but it’s way better than smoking. If you ever want to get serious about quitting I’d recommend them. The Cherry 4mg lozenges from Walgreens are the least gross. I don’t recommend patches, they’ll give you crazy dreams, like fucked up hellish nightmares. Unless you’re into that kinda thing.

I still love my morning coffee and most days think of how nice a smoke would be with it, but then I think of heart disease and lung cancer and how many morning coffee's I'd miss out on if I die many years early!

I started smoking when I was 13 and growing up I never understood NOT smoking and it's only now 30 some odd years later I can see how stupid people are who smoke. It's not cool, it's not macho and it's not more addictive than crack lol.

Smoked at 12yrs old many years. Always thought I quit but was substituting with Copenhagen. Back and forth between chew and smoking. Went cigaretteless for 10 yrs but was chewing 2 cans a day. About 6 yrs ago switched back to cigs to kick the chew habit which was costing me 70 bucks a day, then to vape. I dont smoke cigs anymore but vape like a mad man, supplement chew to cut back on the vape... Nicotine is a bear to kick, think about giving it up all the time just havent yet

I went from cigs to vape, then ran the patches for all three steps. I've been nicotine free going on four years now. I always ran the patches for a couple weeks then would relapse. I think running all three steps is key

i tried the tobacco free chew with nicotine. it just made me want my cope wintergreen to the point i had to get some. Cold turkey is how i did it. And when i absolutely needed something in my lip, a pinch of coffee grinds to fill that void.

Coffee grinds wtf lol? I went with gum and dry frosted mimi wheats to help get me through the withdrawal, but mostly it was will power. Cold turkey works the most I think cause it's just over and done with, but all the patches and shit just prolong it and most times just help to keep the person addicted.

I smoked cigarettes starting at 10. I switched to a vuse alto, it’s like a juul, about 2 years ago. I’m 36 now. I feel better having stopped smoking cigarettes, but technically I do still smoke I guess.

Yeah when I vaped, I was puffing on that thing constantly. I don't think it was any better than the cigs, just didn't stink as bad

Tastes better too, cant eat a cinnamon bun with cream cheese icing but can vape it without the calories lol. I am pretty bad with chain vaping. Funny thing is I can be out on a call for most of the day and be fine without it.
