Bicep work

Whos clever then? Ronnie Coleman?
Jeff Cavaliere puts very solid contents in regards of training.. aside with John Meadows..

And Jeff isnt small… he just doesnt have a giant chest… his triceps and delts and even biceps are sick…

Did you see some of his videos entirely?
Dude how much does he weigh? He’s not big. He honestly looks like he weighs around 150-160

And do you have big arms? When’s the last time they grew tissue?
I don't profess to say I have big arms...my biceps do respond pretty well to training and 20-30lbs I found was decent enough weight for enough reps to help them grow a bit.

In comparison to what? Have you tried to increase the load? Your lean body mass is around 150ish lbs. you don’t know what you need to grow big arms.

i didnt say he s big… i said His tris and delts and even bis are sick… and that he puts quality contents…

maybe hes just on trt and run some HGH, kcals are low, because hes fine with that setup… not everyone is meant to be Huge…

being huge doesnt mean youre very knowledgeable in facts of tranining…

Maybe Paul Dillett, Big Ramy & co just jerk off and grow…

With sick i mean they re cool for my standards… i dont like just Flex Wheeler s unreal arms.. but could appreciate even a more human level of development

Jeff isn’t growing. He doesn’t teach people how to grow. He’s basically a PT. Having knowledge from books and studies doesn’t mean its applicable. Muscles grow because they have to adapt. You can get away with subpar weights for a little while but eventually you’re going to have to increase the load.
You cannot continue to use the same load and expect to get continued growth.
Take 2 guys and have one stick to pumping and squeezing the weight with 20-30lbs of multiple exercises and sets and take another and have him train 2 exercises a week in the 6-9,10-12,15-20 reprange. Sets to failure and just good old progressive overload. Changing exercises only as when stalls. In a year who do you think is going to get the most and fastest growth? If you think it’s the guy who was doing pump sets and fluff work then you’re sadly mistaken.

i totally agree but i was referring just on movements … didnt even notice he was speaking about set and reps… And as already stated, i introduced the Reach the failure in the eccentic part tip too, after i saw a Dorian Yates’ vid, and it seems its working… every new workout i m increasing weight and reps… but i m taking it easy, because my tendons dont grow aside muscles… and dont wanna get epicondilytis again or similar stuff…

My reps and sets comment wasn’t necessarily about Jeff and the video. It more so to the guys commenting saying light weights pump and squeeze. I’m the guy who does have mediocre genetics. On top of that I’m older with a lot of injuries. I’ve had to fight for every ounce of tissue I have and I’m still growing. The only free weights I can still use are dumbbells. If I would’ve stuck to squeezing and pumping and adding volume I wouldn’t have gained shit. With my ex I stopped working out completely and lost everything. I ended up a skinny fat 160-175lbs. I had to start over from worse than when I started. So when I see guys giving advice to add volume or pump and squeeze I shake my head. I don’t want people to spin their wheels.

what do you think about iso and forced reps
Past failure? Cluster sets? (Kinda rest pause) Failure on eccentric?

i m opting for single arms excercises even to being able to push past failure and help with iso, because i dont wanna have to rely on spotters.. i m too misanthropic for that stuff.. unless spotter is a hot chick like @Kim

I’m a fan as long as it doesn’t hamper recovery. I haven’t trained with a spotter or partner almost ever. I add intensifiers on every exercise.

Alright I gonna make sure I am doing around the correct weight. Stand up curls 8-10 reps, failure is 12-13 40lb dumbbells, machine preacher curl 1st set 12 reps, sets after this 8-10 reps, 2 hand cable curls I go heavier with 4-6 reps with failure at 8. All that sound ok, I am fatigued after workout but not sore next day

If failure is 12-13 then hit 12-13. I’m not a fan. It sounds like you’re wasting energy and effort.

Here’s the problem with going high. If you aren’t actually getting DOMS in your biceps, and I’m not getting them with 140lb preacher curls, you aren’t even using your biceps. They won’t grow. Period.

Even if it’s a little bit of weight, your biceps will grow. Of course, you actually have to increase the weight as you get bigger. But starting low and doing high reps will work, as long as your biceps are squeezing. You just need to keep increasing until you can’t.

If you work with too high weight, your forearms, etc. will do the bulk of the work, maybe all of it.

Guy is small, sorry bro but I listen to the ones that practice what they preach. Don't come at me with a video titled "how to build massive biceps" when you have looked the same way for the past 10 fucking years. Dude looks like a holocaust victim year round. Gtfo of here with that nonsense. And a bit overly complicated at that? Ya think? Arm chair theorizer bullshit is abt 90% of the content to me
