Trying to order using MoneyGram but receiving error

Is MoneyGram down or is there something I’m missing? I’ve used it before to order and it went through but now it’s giving me this error every time. Their customer service pretty much replied back to me and said the same thing that’s on the error and that if it doesn’t work to use another means of ordering.

The receiver could be flagged. i've had a couple sources tell me way back when not to use the online service. This could be why. Maybe it's more heavily scrutinized?

Appreciate the reply. I ordered from this source a few months ago and it went through fine. I’m on my last vial and now getting nervous because im currently on self trt. Not sure what other source would be as good. Thanks again.

Better yet a good time to learn bitcoin as MG/WU are cracking down. I find I can't use my MG online account anymore to make payments for a loan where I used to do before and I was told to go to a Walgreens store to do that transaction. So now I mail a check for the payments.

Thanks yeah I need to start learning again. I tried once and failed horribly ended up having to purchase more in the end but it looks like most sources don’t even accept MG or WU anymore.

MSG is correct. Moneygram flags a lot of transactions made online especially those going to the Ukraine, Moldova and similar destinations. If you're dead set on using moneygram you need to go do it in person at a local Bodega or someplace like that. Walmart does moneygram but sometimes the people doing the transactions ask to many damn questions and I can't confirm it but I think they will also flag your transaction as suspicious.

And don't forget to tell the Asian guy behind the counter pf the Bodega to send your currency as US dollar not euros!

You could try asking the source for another receiver name and then try again at a kiosk.

If that fails, it may be a sign to try your luck with another source.

Nah Coinbase is a pita now, so I found it was very easy for me to use Cashapp as I got verified surprisingly fast as 2 minutes after I sent in my ID I was approved for Bitcoin transfers up to $50k a day and can purchase $1000 at a time from my debit card.

Some sources may accept bitcoin via cashapp to their cashtag. Best to check with your favorite source if they do. But one warning with using cashapp for bitcoin: DO NOT pay your source directly from your cashapp bitcoin wallet! Once you buy your coin in cashapp you must transfer the coin to another external wallet such as one you can easily create on blockchain.com (which also has a great app for managing your wallet. Once you transfer your coin to that external wallet you can then pay your source from there. The reason is that there's been reports cashapp was banning people because they sent to a flagged wallet. So be careful!

Oh yes there are state restrictions on bitcoin. FL and NY are 2 known states that restrict use of bitcoin. My state allows it thankfully.

So also consider where you live as well.

Some ID's are most likely harder to verify. With all the stories about how slow verification is on cashapp I was pleasantly surprised to get verified in 2 minutes.

i know NY restricted the trading of certain coins for whatever reason, but unless something changed in the last 2 months, Cash App can be used to buy and sell BTC in NY.
