Yeah, idk what to think anymore. We weren’t going to get it but my wife comes into contact with at least 150-200 people at work everyday so we thought we’d just be safe. My mom coming out positive after already having the vaccine made me really unsure as to what to think.

I'm at a loss myself. I simply got it so I would be able to travel and go as I please. I really would have liked to see more long term data. It is what it is. I can understand the reasoning on either side of the dividing line. So much contradiction and confusion out there.

I'm happy that i got vaccinated.

Had my 2nd shot of pfizer 5 weeks ago and got sick this week. Tested positive for covid, however my ct value wasn't bad(23). Felt a bit bad for a day and during the day it instantly got better, i think the vaccine maybe instantly helped a lot.

I'm in quarantine since 3 days and they already planned another pcr test for tomorrow. I could already be released from quarantine after like 5 days(they said monday) when my ct value is >30 on that test. They told me their experience is that this will be the case for people who are vaccinated twice.

I'm glad you feel it worked out for you. And I wish the case was that if you feel it will benefit you, get it and if you don't, then don't. My issue isn't with a person's right to choose, it's the demonization of those that don't. At the end of the day if you believe the vaccine works the way it does then those of us who don't get vaccinated are only putting ourselves at risk which will only impact us. No government mandates, everyone look out for their own best interests.

my risk is not the same as a 75yr old with 3 comorbidities. Not even the same as a a prediabetic/obese person my age or younger.

This is a important point that needs to be discussed within our government and with each other and with these scientists.

I am only speaking from people I am close to that are family members and close friends.

2 family members in their 70's got the vaccine. Within 1 week, 1 person had a series of mini strokes and lost 70% of their vision in their left eye. The other within 1 week, I think 3 days later actually, had fluid around their heart and fluid in their lungs and now is on oxygen the rest of their days. Both spent time in the hospital for about a month. No, they aren't fit and healthy as they should be, but they sure as hell weren't feeling like they do now after taking the jab. One was lucky to even leave the hospital.

Nurses and the doctors both asked us on separate occasions if they had by chance gotten the vaccine lately, and we said yes they did, just last week as a matter of fact. Both the nurse and doctor looked dead in our eyes and gave a smirk. And not a smiling smirk. But said nothing else about it.

Another friend of the family was in his 40's. Got the vaccine, and 2 weeks later died from blood clots. He was perfectly healthy prior to the jab. Doctor asked the same question to the family member, and they got the same look as we did. But nothing else was said about it.

I firmly believe that there are way more cases than any of us know about that are not being reported. When Doctors and Nurses both are giving you a look of, yes, it's more than likely it was the vaccine that caused this and it's not a coincidence but that's as far as the conversation goes, is disturbing to me.

We are the lab rats in this experiment. We need as much data (good and bad) on what these vaccines are doing.

And if you want to get the vaccine, and still wear masks or whatever, that's great. That's your choice. But to belittle other people because they don't make the same choice as you and accuse them of killing people because they won't take the jab, well, simply put, go fuck yourselves.

That being said, I'm in a wait and see about the vaccines. I want to know more about the long term effects that nobody knows about yet because it hasn't been out long enough to determine that. I've never got a flu shot, and that's worked out well for me. I've never been a big believer in what other people tell me is "good for me". Fuck you, I'll decide that.

I rea d a report from Isreal which is having a huge influx in covid cases and with the delta variant.. 59% are not vaccinated 49% vaccinated..1% natural immunities.. people that have no vaccine and already had covid once or more before.. .. so for 59% to be unvaccinated is obvious.. but for 49% to be vaccinated?? Seems pretty useless... if the polio and measles vaccine had that rate of success we would nkt be here today.. .. seems if.your healthy yoir best bet is no vaccine... second best is vaccine but you will still get covid.. and we habe no idea what will happen down the road or and children if.ylu habe any in the future.. and if.your unhealthy..well your fucked.. wear a fucking respirator and do your best to stay home and.minize contact..

I have a fuck load of ivermectin.. there was enough proof of it working for me to buy enough for me and my family incase needed.. can't hurt. Me and my kids are not vaccinated and until I'm shown an effective and proven safe vaccine we won't be getting one.. my wife was more or less forced to get one.. by her employer.. employees who aren't vaccinated have to wear all kinds of extra ppe all day while vaccinated didn't even need a mask.. and work is stressful enough.. add a mask and a shield and gloves all the time .. 8-10 hrs straight is fucked.. so she got it ..she really didn't want to.. she got super sick and regrets it everyday.. this shit has gone to far.. too fucking far

Measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine and hepatitis a and b vaccines. I was required to have these vaccines for school years back. MMR was two shoots and hep a and hep b were two or three shots depending on the vaccine used.

I reluctantly took covid mRNA vaccine after weeks of relentless pressure to do so. I noticed nothing in the way of immediate side effects. Its more the long term effects I am concerned with.

If the vaccine tanks my natural immune system and I need a yearly booster shot not to die from the cold or flu, I get to tell everyone around me i told you so.

At least you're honest about it. Outside if every other argument people post, I want one person to explain to me why we think we've figured out coronaviruses. Every time you hear them talk about a new mutant strain...that's what coronaviruses fucking do. All of the other arguments around vaccinating for a coronavirus are superfluous if you understand that there has never been a vaccination for one yet and clearly the current iterations don't work. Not saying it can't be figured out eventually, but you shouldn't be forced to be a fucking guinea pig.

The important point here is that there is ZERO hope of the covid vax being “2-3 shots.” Because the vaccine will never eliminate Covid. Israel is already planning for their 4th pin and consider anyone with less than 3 not fully vaxxed.
