Again joe, the supreme court doesn't dictate election laws, or rules to the states.
Of course everyone is familiar with bush vs Gore. It literally upended election laws in many southern states.
The supreme court determined Florida didn't follow it's own laws. It didn't dictate those laws to them.
Same with Trump. Basically the supreme court looked at the case, and kicked it back the states because elections are not federal law. They're state law. They didn't determine the state violated it's own laws, and integrity of the election in the state, was up to the states to determine. Not the supreme court.
They didn't hear any evidence or conduct any investigation. They kicked the matter back to the state. Then the fucked up part is the states, looked at the election officials and said "was all this shit legit"? And the officials who conducted the elections said "uh, yeah" , then the judges dismissed the cases. Told the lawyers to take the matter up with the election officials. Imagine that. You catch people fucking up, and fucking you over, then the court tells you to take the matter up with them. Dismissed the cases on procedural grounds, because the procedure says only an election official can file a case. Fucked up shit.
Just like in Florida, the supreme court upheld Florida state law, and ceded jurisdiction there.
