Yes exactly, I agree. The Fed gave Ontario >$3b for Healthcare spending specific to COVID and none of it has been used. At the end of this all Ford is going to claim "good fiscal responsibility" for not having spent that money, but here we are in another lockdown when what we needed was 1) more nurses, 2) more ICU beds, and 3) better healthcare in general. Including diet and exercise etc2 years into lockdowns, trillions of dollars spent. How many construction companies do we have in Canada that could of built hospitals or temp hospitals with ICU beds?
We should be building an infrastructure that accommodates disease outbreaks rather than going into hiding every time stuff we "never could have expected" comes up.
