Canadians talk domestic

It's really not worth it. These guys would rather believe a YouTuber that can't help a 3rd grader do math than doctors with a dozen years of school.

I find a lot of the misinformation may be partly due to the fact that most peer reviewed scientific journals need to be bought to read. So most the legit info is few and far between and people don't trust the media or government.
The real criminals are the profiteers of misinformation

I fell for it when I was young, that's why I'm here lol

Yea, that's kinda what I ment. Most people arnt going to pay for an article from a peer reviewed scientific journal for research, and most probly couldn't understand it if they did without some sort of medical/science background in whatever subject their researching. So relying on other people to do that research, put it in lamens terms and not fucking skew it to their political agenda is tough today.

Can you elaborate more on this? It doesn't explain why or where can I find a peer reviewed science journal on this issue

Sci-Hub works :)

For me one of the absolute scariest things about all this covid bullshit is the amount of people calling for non vaxxed people to be completely refused health care period and there's more and more people agreeing with that point of view every fucking day!

It's political and economic fuckery just like this that allowed the Nazi party to attain power back in the 1930's and now the same tactics are being implemented to allow big pharma to obtain absolute control over society by meams of rule of law.

This "Pandemic" has been in play for many years now and could have been easily avoided with the implementation of well know and safe oral medications as well as monoclonal antibodies, but all of these were held back from us and that right there is a HUGE red flag!
100% agreed brother

Well boys, all this talk of tests figured I'd chime in.

Just saying. Double vaxxed but only so I could keep working and training. To each their own.

However this goes for anyone thinking of traveling. Simply put. Don't.

Been in Puerto Rico for 2 weeks. Took 3 tests to get here from Canada due to flight delays. Anyways we finished our holidays. Got our pre departure tests and what do you know. I tested positive. Gf negative. So she's getting out of here while she can.

Myself though, I'm stuck here. Till January 15th at least. Shacking up in airbnbs in order to isolate. Can't even get a negative test to skip out of here early because you can test positive for weeks to months after recovering from covid. So 7 days of missed work burning through most of my vacation time in the first 2 weeks of the year.

This shit sucks. I'm also sick as fuck. Throat is so sore and inflamed that I can't even

I have a couple of friends living in PEI, so I know their borders have been tougher than Ontario throughout this whole ordeal.

Glad you're feeling better.. the virus is harder on some than it is on others and I believe we are all going to catch this at some point, so maybe it's time to let it run it's course so we can move on.

I believe we have all had enough of this shit..
Thanks my friend. Yes we all have had enough to the point people just dont care. We had 222 cases yesterday so if you go by population and average our cases it would probably be around 15 thousand in ontario. All of this is a shit show

And to think the overwhelming of hospitals could have been avoided completely with the use of preventative medicines like ivermectin, monoclonal antibodies and hydroxychloroquine!

And then there's disinfecting of the nose, mouth and throat to reduce viral count to the point the body's natural immune system can overcome the virus before any serious complications arise.

Not accurate, Ive had a dozen tests at least (I'm an er nurse), none where positive, the covid pcr test will not pop positive for any other virus, flu and respiratory viruses needed another test which is why they are combining them. The old covid pcr test would not pop positive for flu or other viruses because it doesn't test for them.

Edit. I also got the flu last year, covid test negative, upper resp/flu test positive.
Hey dude quick question about the PCR. Will I infection test positive for the next few weeks to months due to the left over dead viral strain in my body/antibodies? With my situation I was hoping to get another PCR a few days after my symptoms subside to potentially get the fuck out of here a few days sooner. But I've been reading that's unlikely. If that's the case, I've read the PCR does a pass system to detect the virus RNA and if it's not detected in the first 40 passes its counted as a negative. What about if someone did a nasal rinse prior to their test (once recovered) and got the shallow nasal swab?

In all seriousness, sorry to hear about your predicament. I know a lot of people had to cancel their vacations last minute, not really out of fear of getting sick but out of fear of getting a positive test. At this point the prohibition to fly home while positive is dumb. You're just as likely to get it here as anywhere else so it's not protecting anyone.

Hope your symptoms do fuck off though. My first bout with vanilla COVID was very annoying.
I appreciate that man,

It's a shit situation. And I only dosed myself with enough test for cruise for about 3 weeks so it could be a shitty next week and a bit.

Ya I don't regret my trip, but I do regret not hopping the early flight we meant to grab and getting tested 5 days earlier as I may have tested negative at that point.

Symptoms are a bit better today. It didn't take 3 advil and a gram of acetaminophen just to sip water for once

Unsure if this is the most appropriate thread to ask this on, but just wondering which of these online pharmacies you folks are using to get shit like metformin and hcg and what not through? I know basically all of them ship to Canada but just curious which ones you’ve had the most success with.

Honestly I don't know about that, I haven't gotten covid yet so I haven't had to deal with any of that and rules are different here in the US I think

Once you get and recover from covid you can't get covid again even if it's a new strain, well that's what a few doctors say at least and I believe that to be true.
I would say true and not true....

I've had it 3 times.
2 times nonvaxed 2020
1 time summer 2021

I will say the 3rd was very mild compared. Vax or whatnot.

Seeing how exposed I've been I'd say some truth as I'm getting it often.

I like how they say very casually say that restaurants and bars will be allowed to open for outdoor dining... are you fucking shitting me!!!

I know a guy in Calgary who’s got it 2 times since it started haha he’s fucking paranoid now so he got double vaxxed in the fall and got it a 3rd time over the Christmas Holidays.

lol but how pissed would you be if they had the nerve to say outdoor dining was banned too

Everything is going to be closed again very soon and Canada's going to lose thousands more small businesses as a result.

Our government isn't acting, just reacting and covid is just one wave after another even with 80%+ of the population fully vaxxed so this "pandemic" is going to be around for years and before covid is gone our economy will be!
