I don’t see why not. As a tablet, a binder has been added to make it, so it should make no difference if you were to add another filler and make capsules or add it to Humco to make a suspension.

I agree. What I found is it dissolves in an alkaline solution and humco is acidic. So I am not sure… thanks you though.

That’s interesting. Have you considered just making a solution then?
I know it sounds goofy, but you can always call a compounding pharmacy and ask them and they would more than likely tell you the best way to prepare it.

It looks like I was over analyzing the process. It is a lipophilic molecule like testosterone and Humco will work. Just wanted to be completely accurate considering Telmisartan use. Thank you!!!

Tried this twice, my raw source comes clumped, it's not a fine or coarse powder. Does not mix at all. A fine power like Cialis will clump so I like to mix for at least an hour. I could mix this for days and it will just stay clumped. If anybody has a solution for raw powder other than capsules I would interested.

Did you try a coffee grinder to break it up?
Sounds like a solution instead of a suspension is best for it.

It sticks together like brown sugar and then clumps back together while mixing

You tried this in Humco? I have no problem with my cialis in Humco. I add the powder to Humco. Shake the hell out of it for a 5 min. Let it sit for a couple days with shaking it several times each day and it turns out fine. Then I keep mine in the refrigerator. I never get clumping with cialis in Humco.
I haven't tried Telmisartan in Humco yet. I was still getting conflicting information on how to suspend. So I ordered pills for now. I did discover that its soluble in oils. The report below shows its solubility in various solutions. With propylene glycol looking promising. I have't had a chance to find a more definite answer.

There are suspensions sold by vets and for elderly patients that can't take pills. But they don't describe what it is suspended in.

I use humco and baby ibuprofen for my orals, the only oral that won't mix is telmisartan.You tried this in Humco? I have no problem with my cialis in Humco. I add the powder to Humco. I just mixed up some telmisartan in propylene glycol at 30mg/mL. It is a milky and homogenous, no obvious precipitation after 24h, but appears more like a suspension than a solution. I'll try titrating more in and see what can hold, but I find a solubility of 80mg/mL unbelievable at this point.

“However, to obtain a telmisartan solution which is stable on storage, it is essential to add sugar alcohols such as e.g. xylitol, sorbitol or maltitol, provided that the amount of reducing sugars in the sugar alcohol of an aqueous drinkable telmisartan solution with a pH of >_ 10 or higher is limited to below the content of sugar alcohols specified”
