same thing happens with my neck muscles which are also mainly slow type1 muscle fibers much like calves are- i guess type1 muscles need to be trained very frequently to keep fullThis happens to me also. My arms maintain size on a cut and calves get smaller. It drives me crazy. All my (small) calves gains dissapear on a cut.
