We welcome the principle of minimally effective dosages and, according to the experience of numerous people, we believe that this is about 200 mg of testosterone per week. At this dosage, almost any beginner can grow and maintain a good shape and more advanced athletes, because a lot depends on your diet and training.
We have had cases when beginners did not grow up with 250 mg (1 ml) of testosterone and then had to increase to 500 mg or additionally use some other drug that does not undergo aromatization in order to avoid the use of aromatase inhibitors. We must understand that the response to anabolic steroids also depends on genetic characteristics, such as the number of androgen receptors and their sensitivity. This is why many can progress at minimal dosages.
My personal experience suggests that the statements that over the years you need to constantly increase dosages to build more and more muscles are most likely a speculative myth.
As far as some studies tell us, anabolic steroids can change the number of androgen receptors in some muscles over time. Some studies say that testosterone increases their number (Doumit et al., 1996).
Animal studies have shown that a significant increase in the number of androgen receptors occurs as a result of training muscle strength and endurance, as well as electrical stimulation of muscles (Inoue et al., 1993; Deschenes et al., 1994). This can serve as an indirect argument in favor of the fact that anabolic steroids work more effectively on trained people over time.
I can give a personal example: in the first years of using AS, good growth was observed from 750-1000 mg (in the aggregate of all drugs) and after 10 years of training, the same response is felt from 500 mg and there are not a few such people. With experience, many athletes come to reduce dosages.
In summary, we would advise beginners to also try starting with 250 mg and if there is no response to these dosages, you can always have time to increase and compare the result.
