I hope im not jumping the gun here, but im looking for a good source for gear that's been Tested/proven to be legit. I see all these companies with bad reviews and I don't trust them. I've looking on the forums but I still can't figure out who would be a good source. I'm in the USA

If you notice on most forums, the review is posted by a brand new account saying "xxxx is junk they ripped me off" and all the replies are high post count forum members all saying variations of "yeah they scammers, next time use our trusted sources".
They do that so when you google a source that is not their sponsor you get a bunch of threads accusing them of being scammers.
