Domestic metformin?

Just figured I'd see if anyone uses a domestic source for metformin sr or metformin xr. I usually get mine international but would rather do domestic if possible

I have not ran across it domesticly but I’m sure it does exist for sale here. I also get it internationally and often get tired of doing so and switch to berberine as it’s easily available on Amazon.

I’ve asked a few domestic sources over the years who sell pharma for it and they typically tell me due to the size and weight of metformin that it’s wasn’t cost effective for them to have it on their list. If you do find it state side I’m sure it will be very over priced.

Any noticeable difference between the two when taking them? Berberine gives me diarrhea when I take it.

Most say that metformin causes diarrhea but it doesn’t for me and never has but like you, berberine tore me up at first. It passed after two weeks and never has caused any issues since. No noticeable difference as they both equally keep my bg around the same numbers when I run hgh 4iu or higher. I perfer metformin as it’s pharmaceutical and there’s a lot more medical studies on it of course.

I have even taken the two together once when my bg shot up on me. It was recommended by a member (Mands). It helped but to get it under control I just came down with my hgh dose.

yeah theyll do anywhere from 500 to 2000 iirc

I’ve not tried berberine but R-alpha lipoic acid kept my BG lower than Metformin.

I don’t get any hypoglycaemic sides from either & no side effects from RALA. I do get fairly bad farts in the first week of Metformin

Have any of you tried the continuous BG monitor Freestyle Libre? I’m very interested in this just to see what foods to eat for what insulin effect.

What do you consider high fasting BG running growth? I tend to stay around mid 90s on 1000mg metformin and that is with 3 to 4 iu of GH.

Keep it below 100 always. 100-124 is pre diabetic range

I forgot to say if you’re in the UK, Superdrug (a high street chain) sell Metformin online via a very simple questionnaire. You just tell them you have type 2 diabetes & they post the Metformin.

This obviously won’t last as the regulator gets wise & cracks down.
