Barbell rows discussion

Is he a narcissist or just really good? He is an IFBB pro bodybuilder, so I would say he has an expert opinion on matters of bodybuilding.
Not saying you're wrong in your training approach, and I hope not as I kinda do the same thing. Mac has paid his dues and has the trophies to prove his knowledge works. I think from what he has achieved his word should be taken a little more seriously. Just my 2cents.
We are actually lucky to have an IFBB pro take the time out of his day to help us all out.
Appreciate this man, but my methods and me personally, don’t need defended against this nor does that nonsense demand a reply. I’m not the one who had to resort to insults and go off on a tangent assuming anybody that disagrees is just a high androgen idiot.

To each his own.

I was speaking about rhetorics and "attitude", not the content of your replies. I see you missed this completely and defensively directed the discourse towards my persona being unable to except opposing views, which is a weak attack and in actuality, paints you exactly as what you tried to make me look like: closed off and not able to self reflect and except opposing views. You've displayed the same attitude over and over again. And yes, this attitude is typical high androgen behaviour. Going to put a smiley here, just to denote the general tone of this conversation not being angry or hostile : ) I don't care really.

And no, I am completely capable of accepting opposing views and am interested in debating why and how, etc etc. And actually welcome it, as I love this sport and like to hear new and different views on things. You see? But you didn't open such a discourse, you just blatantly threw your opinion as an absolute and disappeared. And this is what I was referencing, which you missed completely. And you acted the same in the other thread about cardarine, could not just accept the fact that you were wrong. Again, this is typical high androgen behaviour. Not having the neuroplasticity to be able to step out of your "self" and view and act from another "place". Steroids make Johny big and proud and stiff headed.

I have nothing against you, I wish you all the best, whoever you are.

Personally Lukiss ive done these for over 30 years. As said deadlifts help rows and rows help deadlifts. I have found my bench row and deadlifts have been round the same numbers for 10 years. Sure if I pushed i could go heavier. But at the cost of form. Also at my age im going backwards not forward. 8 sets is child's play. I will do a whole workout just rows. 1 set with my feet wide. Then narrow then under hand. Wide grip act. Kills my back from the hams and flutes to my traps. Then I pull bar into my hips and calf raise. Just use one machine whole workout.

He wrote very true to the point, many do not have enough to openly express their opinions, but at the same time quite politely.

It's nice to read common sense and the fact that we have to change training with age.

I usually do 2 warmup sets followed by 2-3 working sets @ 240lbs x failure which usually equals to 6-7 reps. By far one of my fav back movements.
