Can you believe that this guy came up with such a retarted line? He is such a left-wing idiot that I can't believe he is even allowed to run against a great man like Bush. Kerry has about as much chance of winning as most on this board have of benching 600 lbs.

Hes a patriot of this great country, of whom we have to few. He is ready to right the ship that John Kerry believes, has been so horribly wronged by your " great man " GWB.

I think Bush will win at least 2 out of the 3 debates. Whether or not you want him as president again, the majority of Americans find him likeable. He is a charming guy that people feel they can relate to. They dont feel that way towards Kerry, as he comes across as a very cold person.

BTW, a good friend of mine met GW in person this afternoon.

Dunno Bob, I am not a "washington insider " , or a representative of Senator Kerry in any capacity. . He will pull out the big guns right about the time it matters...very close to election time. Its harder to plan an smear attack against Senator kerry that way. I anticipate that in the last 30 days will the democratic president will be very " vigilant and steadfast in his resolve " to gain advantage over the incumbent. Bush cant use the fact that "Kerry has never actualy been the president" as a reason to keep him from the position.

I know in wartime, i'd rather have a veteran of war in office then a man who was Admittedly helped by the Texas Leui. Gevernor into the air national guard to avoid war. Truman took over the presidency in april of a war without running for president, kerry could pick up just nicley too.

Alright Yankee boy. We'll check back in November and see who is right. Deal?

who admitted to commiting atrocities of war? Who wont even release his full military records? Who has been strongly anti-war for the past 30+ years? Who has voted against numerous weapons systems and equipment for our troops?

Yeah, I want him too.

Kerry admitted to committing no such atrocities, ever. he was representing a number of soldiers who had told him what they had seen.

I went to war Bob, i have been strongly anti-war bob for the past 14 yrs of my distinguished life.

He never voted against weapons systems and troops Bob..he voted against the way they were funded ( through the borrowing of monies from the general fund ). If you believe this part of your argument specifically that senator kerry "voted against numerous weapons systems and equipment for our troops? "...then i must ask you.... who sent them to war ill-equipped for fighting a war Bob ?

Quasi, Im not just referring to the $87 billion vote, Im talking about plenty of other votes during his career in the Senate.

Oh, and how about someone who has voted to cut intelligence spending?

IMO, I think it will be fun when he gets around to running on his senate record.

I declared long ago to everyone on this board that i was tired of getting to know " Lt. Kerry " instead of Sen. Kerry. I think he is responding to the situation being posed to him...Bush is making this entire re-appointment campaign around terror and war. To that i say Mr. Kerry knows a little about war too...and the horrible cost of war. Unless you are a war profiteer like KBR, CACI, or of course...Halliburton, in which war is great .

I read in the paper today that the platform directive today ( put together by Frist ) has instructed speakers to not include "Iraq' or "WMD" in any speech they give ..or in any interview they give the media. Instead McCain ( who bush called a war criminal in 2000 ) focused on , what he called a " disingenuous filmaker " as one of the central topics of his keynote address.

Is this really all they have to talk about ? how about the net loss of jobs that has occured under this Presidents watch ? How bout the economy...You need to do a little more than put the economy in the "axis of evil " along with 'one of the Koreas" to really say your doing something about it.....

you know what..If the guy would have admitted mistakes...i would vote for him. thats all it would have taken...accountability.

Quasi, there are audio quotes of him admitting to committing atrocities. I believe it began something like "I, too, committed atrocities..."

If this audio exists frosty, i'd love to hear it..it isnt in the transcripts that i have of the judiciary committee hearings where he testified about the atrocities...Could you maybe find it and post a link to it ? :D
