Psychiatrist

Not sure from where you came in just now ... But I'm sorry brother, this is quite an uneducated opinion.

The problems you had from ssri's are probably because you started off with a to big of a dose. Starting gradually, like 2.5 mg's of escitalopram (or even less) for the first 4 weeks, or more, what ever feels comfortable, and then increase to 5mg ... is the way to go.

It's also not factually accurate to say that ssri's increase anxiety for the first 6 to 12 weeks. They decrease anxiety, for the first week, then they increase it a bit and then it decreases again. This happens in a matter of 3 to 4 weeks. Again, starting off with a low dose is key.

Same goes for going off ssri's. You don't just take half the dose one day and suffer withdrawal. You take 5% less for a week, then 5% less for the next week, etc. I guarantee, you wont have any withdrawals this way. But if you do, then go at it at an even slower pace.

Microdosing shrooms and acid has it's benefits for sure. But I can almost guarantee, that it wont help in the long run. Microdosing is the next hype, like cbd for example (which works wonders for me, but unfortunately you need to up the dose pretty soon), but is again very unlikely to be a permanent solution. And the rewiring happens at large, trip dosages, not really with microdosing. Mind you, rewiring also happens with ssri's, and it's more likely for it to be a sustainable treatment for people with chronic anxiety. Not everybody has the intellectual and spiritual proves to be able to trip on heavy dosages. But if you do, give it a go, just be careful, start small and gradually build up.
And how to find this norm line, between a microdose and an already excessive dose.

Bros if I can ask for one more piece of advice,
Before the medication kicked in we went out as a group, and I spoke to this girl, I remember the details of convo but also it seems fuzzy as fuck and am not sure it totally happened.

I was in a bad state, added with self medication and a beer.
Should I ask her upfront, give honest explanation? Don't wanna seem crazy as fuck lmao

Then thats why, my doctors are dumb. They start me at 10 or 20 mg from the go. Makes sense why it didnt work.

You want to take a dose and not feel it. Thats the difference.

This is how i started and here many do:

I started out with a trip of 1.3 grams (i was not ready to try more) of some nice ones. To see what my mind was looking for. If i had thoughts repressed, and to then meditiate on my feelings. As i am new to psychs and it was 2nd time ever. Since then i just microdose.

And you want to do 1 day on 2 days off. Or eod if you want more advanced or can manage on work days. I take .1 gram of shrooms for my microdose. In morning early to get my day going. I am much more present. Also take my time on things instead of rushing. Also it has an afterglow a bit. I get stuff done and meditate, do things to lower stress. Alot of people do this cycle for 6-8 weeks. Then take a week or two off. So this is how you never have to raise dose. (Supposedly)

I have read incredible things.

I watched a ton of documentaries on psychdelics and the history of them. Before i started, and researched best therapies to go about. I.e meditation, reading, etc.

But this is very interesting, what you described. you should try to do the same.
Apparently, you still need to take your time and add reading books and meditation.
