Equipped sled leg-press

Does anyone us a powerlifting belt and/or knee sleeves on the sled? I just hit 620 for 18 and I'm starting to worry about getting injured, I think a lot of it is water retention from hgh and igf, but should I gear up for this? I'm about to go on at the end of the month

I use sleeves on any pressing movements.

Ps if your goal is hypertrophy, go DEEP on your leg press

I don't touch knees to back anymore, it feels like my spine is going to break
If your knees touched your back, I could see your spine breaking.

You just want to keep your butt planted and come down as low as possible. Greater knee flexion means more quad growth

If you're really feeling your spine may break, that would lead me to believe your form is poor or you're not bracing your core properly

Lol fuck, I meant knees to chest*

I'll start wearing my sleeves but is wearing my belt out of the question since I have the seat to brace my back?

No way in hell my knees can hit my chest. As my butt would come off, i saw this kids doing it where he bottomed out leg press. No idea how someone has the leg mobility. But he did.
