If you want to measure 10mg accurately, buy a scale that measures 1mg increments... "Tree" brand I've seen as good. Couple hundred bucks
They usually measure up to an oz or 2 with precision. Decent price too (60-80). They come with goodies to move handle jewelry without making a mess or damaging the diamonds.
I think the ones you’re thinking of measure to the .001 gram which technically works for 10mg. That’s most of the sub 100 dollar ones at least. Most of these measure up to 20g. I bought a Gemini 20 but I’m unsure just how accurate it is around 10mg. I’ll know eventually. Doing a test run and will send a few out to jano to see
It should come with other goodies to calibrate the scale. Google "How much does a Nickle weigh" google will say "etcetc" and to be sure, have a penny, nickel, dime and a quarter to calibrate correctly.

Get a pack of microdosing spoons from amazon
Get a mg scale from amazon too (20gr 0.001g iterations)
Weight 20-30 orange spoons on the scale (make them heaping spoons) and divide total weight by # of spoons.
That's you average spoon weight for that particular compound
