Oral suspension question

Well I tried it and not sure that I really like it
It’s kind of a thick white milky substance

It’s kind of important that telmisartan is accurate and I’m not sure about this.
I did 80mg/ml 30ml total adjusted Humco for raws displacement
Just worried about clumping with this one and its hard to tell because of the final product. I did grind the raws with mortar and pestle before adding them but the consistency of the raws still wants to clump.

I’ve done Sildenafil, Tadalafil, Raloxifene, and Exemestane in Humco oral suspension and happy with the results. Couple of those I’ve been doing that way for years. This Telmisartan is different. Also I’ve noticed other well known UGLs have done caps for telmisartan instead of oral suspension when they offer other medications in oral suspension form.

I probably should have added this to the oral suspension thread, wasn’t thinking and realized it after I could make a change. But if anyone has some thoughts on telmisartan oral from experience I would appreciate it.
Maybe a solution is better? Peg 300?

It’s a decent sized pile of powder. I’ve just been eating the raws after weighing it out on a mg Scale

I wonder if 190-200 proof alc would do the trick ?
Plus PEG 300 ?
Yeah that’s exactly the problem
I was going to go with 40mg/ml but the amount of Humco I’d be investing everyday id have to start tracking with my macros for sure lol
Yeah that’s what I was wondering
Or VG with peg300 maybe?

Found this compilation of recipes. I don’t have all the solvents on hand but will play around with it once my orders come in

Thanks, gonna check this out now

So if I understand that correctly Humco is possiblly not a good medium for an oral suspension because if the total ppm of sugars goes above 1000 ppm it can negatively affect PH and a PH of less then 10 in an oral telmisartan solution can compromise the medication

Sounds like it might be best to cap

Very good to know. I’m interested in that for sure. I don’t care about taste, only results.
Going to search for it now
Thanks
Yah. I prefer the unflavored candidly. I do caps now but suspension with that sugary stuff gets old fast.

If you can’t find that, try OraPlus

Excellent
Thank you

Yeah I decided I’m going to cap telmisartan after reading about the issue with PH needing to stay above 10 in an oral suspension
But I use oral suspensions for a bunch of other medications so the unsweetened will be very useful

If you do that. Suggestion. Don’t use vitamin c or some other filler that potentially reacts. Creatine is ok but why?

Use Microcrystalline Cellulose. Inert. Cheap. (Do it right) Also grinds down to almost perfect consistency with active ingredients during geometric dilution

Need to buy a few new bottles for my compouns. What containers are you yall using? Is there any convenient ones with an accurate measured dropper attached

Excellent advice, thank you
