It’s 2023 dude. People ask guys who have never been to the gym if they’re on steroids.

Im starting to wonder if you’ve got your gym membership yet though..

Please, don't reply if you actually looks like you don't even lift.
You forgot "0 cycles" as an option.

There was once a time when of good number of nattys "looked like" they used AAS long before they ever touched steroids.

When they reached this point through diet and training, this was an indicator that they were ready to take the next step. But only then.

I honestly don't think there is anyone looking jacked while natty, all the guys claiming natty and looking juiced are just juiced. Look at the really really old body building competitions, they had shitty physics.

Both exist.

Nowadays, there are so many people who underestimate the progress that can be made with intelligent, consistent intense training/nutrition. They believe everyone who has a good physique MUST be using AAS. They believe AAS are THE answer and not training/nutrition.

Don't get me wrong. Their assessment may be correct more often not than especially at a time when so many AAS users in the gym barely look like they lift.

And there are all the "fake nattys" too. And admittedly more of these than the former.

It's two sides of the same coin.

People who want to use AAS deceive themselves into believing that non-AAS users with good physiques MUST be using AAS.

People who don't want to use AAS deceive themselves into believing that the so-called fake nattys were really able to achieve that without pharmacological assistance.

People believe what they want to believe. The truth is secondary.

Where I live almost all are on something and many consider themselves natty doing 200 weekly plus/ minus sarms. There are extremely few (at least here) who has a healthy mindset to training, it usually has its base in low self-esteem as why I personally believe most started and maybe keep going (myself incl). It becomes a culture of using, as everyone is doing it.

However, there is a huge span of body types. Some flex with under 10%, but they also weight 70kgs. Some are bulky as F with not a detail on them. Some are "ripped" but has no visible abs. Some looks as stated above like they never lifted. Some normal looking. Still, most are on.
The clear signs are imo not as asked "how many..."
In my case the unhealthy signs were what brought attention like oily skin, backne, puffy face was a big one at one stage, or more specific things on some like huge traps suddenly or a ridiculous PR from past PR.

In other words, me and those around did not get jacked and got attention first then as that stage is just a few weeks/ months a year. Well some are gifted indeed with genetics or mentality or both and can keep it longer. Joe was a great example of that - RIP. But at a price...

However, too many (majority) don't think amazing bodies are achievable without AAS today which is so untrue. Those succeeding even with AAS are those who had it spot-on as a natty, Greg D is a imo great example of that. The longer I have used AAS the more I have realized that AAS is not the answer, and very very seldom worth it for most. Yet I do enjoy the ride or I wouldn't do it of course.

I do however think it's sad that AAS users who has achieved a great physique don't get credit where credit is due, non-users will never understand the fight around the injections.

It had been a few years since I lifted and I jumped back in, dieted down to 10 percent body fat and then started adding lean mass. and then ran eq, mast, test. The vascularity is what people saw that were like you are on gear

I got accused of juicing into my first test blast, and I looked like shit. Barely even looked like I went to the gym. It infuriated me. I was like wtf at least wait until I'm big! lol

Now that I've got more time and training, I look a lot better and people ask me about testosterone and if I'm on trt typically at the gym. It's happened a handful of times.

I take it as a compliment now though. I readily admit to being on trt and running my test high occasionally. Nobody has asked for more specifics, and I wouldn't get into that with random gym bro's anyway.

Zero cycles.

Over a decade ago when I used to do weights and boxing. In a camp we trained twice a day for several weeks. Diet on point and no booze.

I remember I was 84 kg (185 lbs) at 191 cm (6'3") and the fancy scale at work showed 8 % body fat (one can doubt that). But at this time I was asked if I took something and mainly because I was nicely shredded.

Not much resembles that look anymore tho.

Now at gym, i guess people who have taken AAS know who is on and not, people who never taken AAS seem to not be able to tell…

I can easily tell who in on and who is not.,.,

As some come up and ask me questions, about what they are taking, as soon as i say i am on trt, they tend to open up about all there use. But i only have said to 2-3 people, because they already know since they take it too. As i have been seeing the same people every day for 7-8 years since i have been going to gym, so many are so consistant.

My first run was 27 years ago so it’s hard to stretch my memory here but it’s was pretty obvious on my first run since dbol made me look like the Michelin man. Oddly back then only a few knowledgeable guys knew and they didn’t say anything I just got the “nod” as I was clearly in the secret club with them.

Nowadays I talk to guys about TRT only when I can tell they are on. I’m assuming they can also tell even though I’m still under 200 so not that big but I just have crazy veins. Only 30+ year old guys approach me so all the 20 year guys on gear don’t ever talk to me for some reason so I don’t know if they can tell but most of them are just on some really wet shit and just look like puff balls. Then again I have resting bitch face and everyone says I’m really intense so I will never know what they really think.

Friends, I’ve only heard that I’m looking good but that might shift as I’m aiming for 210-220 next year.

Zero, had friends and family accuse me about a year in after fixing diet deficiencies and fixing my training. This was probably 2-3 years before my first cycle.

After my first cycle it was no longer a question, I responded remarkably well to that first run of 500 test

My first one I gained noticeable size and I had that awkward convo with some relatives.

I was asked rarely when I was natty. Typically, only when I cut down and vascularity was at its peak, but I attribute that to normies thinking veins means steroids lol. After a couple months of TRT, it became a more common thing to get asked while at the gym and to get steroid comments outside of that. After I started upping test, it was even more frequent. Now, on my first REAL blast of 525mg test, 50mg anavar, and 2-3iu gh, I get comments just about daily in and out of the gym. Certainly helps that I'm up about 15-17lbs in a matter of 4-5 weeks and have even more vascularity and still with visible abs and separation of muscle groups.

People have no concept. My first girlfriend seriously asked me if I was on steroids before I ever touched a weight, and subsisted on a terrible diet. I didn't start lifting weights until after she dumped me to make her jealous (it worked by the way; but I kept going because I loved it).

Nowadays, I keep doses low, and people probably mostly think I'm just built well for lifting, but I try not to be conspicuous and train for strength/power anyways, rather than for hypertrophy.

I still get solid hypertrophy given the low volume and exercises that I use, but nothing that screams "clearly enhanced." At least I don't think so, but the majority of my gym is enhanced, and I have received comments that suggest more than an inkling.

I was very open about it when I was younger, so that direct approach sort of forestalled any questions, there was no need; they already knew. Now I try to be more stoic and private.
