Doctor appointment/ BP meds

For anyone interested, I started taking amlodipine about 2 or 3 weeks ago. Today I woke up at 128/73. Prior to that I would sometimes wake up about 160/90.

From muy point of view you could choose other natural options like astragalus, cystone,...to lower blood pressure before using telmisartan (and its side effects). Its important to choose steroids with less effects in blood pressure than the trembolone,...

I was taking lisinopril a ace inhibitor most commonly prescribed bp med I think, and I was having some crazy bad reactions scared the shit out of me. careful with this 1.

I switched to losartan a arb really low dose much better for me.

I think most bp meds protect ur kidneys, for sure by lowering pressure in them , possibly by some other mechanics as well.
What side effects ? I was also on the drug with minimal side effects mainly light headedness which I assumed was common on blood pressure meds.

That’s a major drop in bp from just one bp med, especially norvasc. Any other changes?

I’m surprised more guys are not asking their docs about coreg. It Lowers the bp, helps prevents lv remodeling and lowers hr (not as much as metorprolol) and renal function has no impact unlike ace and arbs.

Yea that's the usual that have having to pee all the time that's i take it am vs pm so I'm not up pissing in the middle of the night.

The bad sides can be dry caught and abdominal angioedema can happen first use or out of no where after years of use.

, I had the first for sure, for me it was pretty bad seemed like what some describe as tren cough symptoms, but dident go away, "dry caugh/dry heave, cotton mouth , choking on food, seemed like my throat was closing.

I got on propanalol a few months ago. fucking shit sucks, idk why but i have no aggression anymore which is weird. when i train i dont get any aggression when before i had a lot of aggression during training. idk why exaclty but im going to try to get on telm

I felt less aggressive and irritable overall when I got on bp meds. Almost like i got on psych meds, after years of high bp.

I was curious about it and looked into it, if your hypertensive your more likely to have neurotic and violent/aggressive tendencies. Makes sence.

Also wondered how that affects my traing and wondered should i take my meds before bed instead. Just havent really wanted to expiriment with high bp work outs anymore lol, I bet the high bp makes you strong af an I bet powerlifters shits are high as hell.

"You're kinda hoping for that (blood) pressure. If you feel like your head is going to blow off and you aren't even doing anything, you can bet your ass you're probably feeling pretty fuckin strong"

Think about the adrenaline that is released during hypertension. That adrenaline fuels anger, aggression, etc... I can say I’m far more relaxed on and off cycle since starting anti hypertensive meds. Obviously one should only take bp meds if they have hypertension

Hypertension runs in my family. I am on 10mg of lisinopril a day. I take it at night. I do get a side effect of a dry cough but it does lower my blood pressure from high 140s/high 90s to 120/70.

I should probably contact my doctor to change to a different medication because of the random coughs, but I asked him to bump me up to 10mg from 5mg when I started this last cycle.

I just started taking blood pressure meds like a year and a half ago. Any blood pressure med that ends in “pril” can cause a coughing side effect(ACE inhibitor). They are effective though.

What dose telmisartan are you guys taking? I've been doing 40mg a day while on blast (500 test, 400 deca). Wondering if my dose is too low, as my BP still rests a tad high.

Light headed, cazy tren type caugh. Waking up to piss all night. Hard to sleep. Reduced cardio. Increased agresion + sex drive.

Mabe take the bp meds befor bed.
