Extraction needle

I got them from Amazon. Pack of 10 for like 20 bucks or so. They are great especially for drawing multiple compounds!
How do you draw multiple compounds accurately? I have a vial adapter on my test, but I’m afraid of adding one to my other compound. I always end up with air in the syringe when drawing off the adapter, which throws things off when adding a second compound.

OK so easy fix.. when you draw the first compound and get an air bubble in the barrel just push it back in the vial until the air bubble goes back in then redraw. You should not have an airbbule at this time. Then just twist off twist on the next vial and draw you should have adequate vacum at that point to not pull air. You just have to play around with it.. it's easier for me to draw more accurately with adapters..

I’ve been using this protocol for years. Draw with insulin then inject with same pin. Use a different insulin pin for each compound. No dead space.

If volume is less than 1ml you still use another slin pin for the second compound? Are you doing this to not blunt the needle with drawing from 2 vials?

I have actually used the slin pin to draw then inject from two separate vials. No issues with the pin becoming dull. I usually do this if I'm in a hurry and haven't' loaded my pin(s) the previous night.

I guess the reason I use two separate pins when using two vials/compounds is not to contaminate the second vial with the first. Hope that makes sense.

Yeah understood. I'm currently thinking how to proceed since 2 weeks ago i added primo to my test and i transfer both amounts into a new sterile vial and draw from there with the slin pin but i was thinking to continue by drawing from both vials in the future. Probably i will continue doing the way i do it. The only downside on transfering to a new vial is in case you wanna change the ratio of either one or other compound.
