13 months ago I made the decision to get back in shape after a 13 year hiatus from the gym. I had become a fat bastard over those years and finally made the decision it was time to get off my ass and start putting in work. Over the last 13 months I've been working diligently in the gym and on the diet, the result is I've lost a 100lbs of fat and managed to pack on muscle while in a deficit. I've been lurking here over the last 6 months and have learned a wealth of knowledge thanks to all the members posting information and recommendations. I hope to be a beneficial part of this community that has taught me so much thus far.
 
100lbs in 13 months?! Damn! That's some solid work and dedication. Welcome and congrats on the accomplishment this far! What are your goals at this point?
Thanks Buns! My goal over the next year is to continue lifting and dropping fat weight through the spring. I'm sitting at 247lbs now and would like to get down to around 200 by May and start bulking through the fall to help fill in this skin. End goal is to land around 225 lean.
 
Yeah, I'm under no illusion that my current end goal will be my final end goal. Always need something to work toward, never settle!
