Thank you so much for the detailed response - once again, everything is clear and to the point.In lyophilized form peptides/proteins are not physically fragile (they're still susceptible to degradation from temperature and light exposure).
Once reconstituted, sharp shocks can induce fluid cavitation that can cause damage (usually aggregate formation). It can also knock peptides that have "adsorbed" to vial walls loose and back into solution which you don't want, since the adsorption process damages them.
TLDR: Don't drop vials of reconstituted solution or subject them to sharp knocks.
