I guess it’s because they make such a large quantity of orders that it’s bound to happen to some vials, and because the benzyl alcohol gets rid of most bacteria, and the filter also adds an extra layer of filtering of most of the medication even if it sheds fibers and the alcohol kills whatever unsanitary elements are in the fibers as well.I always wondered why a piece of filter fiber floating in a vial would be "sterile". If a filter is deteriorating or manufactured poorly to the point where fibers are coming off, doesn't the sterility aspect kind of go out the window.
I wonder if it’ll be a big deal if I re filter it, it probably will be safe right?
Does anyone have any feedback on whether my explanation is wrong or right for why it’s probably sterile?
