Some of the requests are not realistic in the sense that they should test EVERY finished product. nor can anyone here prove it. It is so easy to lie.

The blind testing is where it will shine.

Unrealistic, perhaps. I propose full reimbursement for testing, shipping, the gear, compensation for your time, and an incentive to show they're actively encouraging blind testing. Store credit if the customer chooses that, otherwise direct payment.

What if the source doesn’t have or use scales and prefers to “eyeball” it. I assume maybe more tests needed than usual?

It’s crazy when you do the math and the actual cost yet so few sources test that much or reimburse members for testing. The ones that do tend to earn more respect and trust and therefore sales. But most sources are lazy and don’t care about safety even if the cost is low because it’s still more than $0.

dont get me wrong. there is the law enforcement risk, skill, and other stuff involved with sourcing.

And the reimbursement is usually discount on gear so it’s not like it’s a 1 for 1 on the cost of reimbursement it’s just the lost profit.

This all goes to shit if a savvy scammer finds a way to dilute the product they send for testing. Which should result in an instant permaban from the internet.

can't really go down this rabbit hole of every single variable a scammer could pull.

At the end of the day you want cheap product you have buy in bulk to the amount thats economically viable to your needs and get it tested yourself. There's no other way of having complete peace of mind.

So now that you have a calibrated in house endotoxin method with proper recovery, what do you recommend on the prior generation of testing that all showed endotoxin levels below LOD?

I believe you mentioned you have some type of guarantee with the third party lab with respect to their testing. I'm concerned the first generation of testing gave the community a false sense of confidence with respect to the endotoxin levels in oil based gear.

Would you offer a repeat testing complimentary...

Flagging that the prior endotoxin testing results were most likely false negatives with all samples I saw below LOD. Janoshik has now implemented an in house method with proper recovery of endotoxins from oil matrix on the injectable oil based AAS products.

Project 2 Results

The community owes @Sampei a sincere thanks for coordinating the testing and sending all the samples. We split the cost on HPLC, and I covered the remainder of tests. A good start to demonstrate product surveillance in action for the tests other than HPLC.

The endotoxin result here should be thrown out given what we've learned now. There is reasonable suspicion this first Gen Endotoxin result was a false negative at or below LOD. I've asked @janoshik if he will support a credit for retesting (with all prior ET clients) now that he has brought the method in house with proper endotoxin recovery method from oil matrix.
