Addicts on the street are re-using syringes, shooting gutter water into their veins.

Human grade FDA approved pharmaceuticals produced in the 80's were often times no where near sufficient for true sterilization given what we know today. And yet there were no issues with those drugs.

You can go crazy with the infinite precautions, that's all good and well. But it's not necessary.

That's the truth! Not only does a person need to know what questions to ask, but they have to also know how to validate the responses they receive and follow up with more questions to dig into the matter. It's still a mentally rigorous task to use the tools effectively.

Then again, we live in a soundbite society in which the general public doesn't care about anything that exceeds their paltry attention spans.

There's no supply problem. Hoarding will be the cause of shortages, like toilet paper.
