Yes it is very acidic. It actually not that soluble in it base form. You need base to make it into solutionDoes that mean that glutathione is acidic ?

Thanks.Yes it is very acidic
Anyone tried this? Would like to not need another specialised ingredient lolJust reading through this thread. This bubbles are just carbon dioxide is being released when neutralising acids with a bicarbonate salt. It’s safe and normal. Sodium hydroxide is more dangerous to work with so you can just use more bicarbonate to increase the pH.
For L-Carnitine you need acetic acid to lower the pH. I use white vinegar. I add small amounts and test with pH strips until I get to 7. I just made 120mls a few days ago ago. No pip.sorry to hijack. I made 20ml of L-Carnitine 500mg/ml a few months ago with no problems. crystal clear and zero pip. i used distilled water and ba. ph strip showed it was at 7. I ran out and decided to make 60ml's. this one is also crystal clear. but, ph is showing its 9 somehow. it has a bite to it. how do you go about lowering the ph? sodium bicarbonate usp? if so, how do you know how much to add?
What concentration do you make it at? I make 600mg/mL but never has any PIPFor L-Carnitine you need acetic acid to lower the pH. I use white vinegar. I add small amounts and test with pH strips until I get to 7. I just made 120mls a few days ago ago. No pip.
This thread has been an awesome guide. I just made my first batch. I’ll leave it in the fridge for a few days and then give it a try. They are not bases. You need a base like sodium hydroxide or sobium bicarbonate. If you use sodium hydroxide and the ph stays under 7, you will be safe since all if it is reacted.
I don’t know if it affects the glutathione in anyway but I take l-carnitine to a ph of ~7.4 and have no issues with it.This thread has been an awesome guide. I just made my first batch. I’ll leave it in the fridge for a few days and then give it a try.
This is probably a stupid question but how hard of a line do you draw at 7 ph? I put a little too much NaOH when I was at 6 and ended up at 7.23. Normally I would say this is within a margin of error but I really don’t like the idea of injecting lye. Probe was calibrated at 7 before I started.
I could be wrong about this but I'd say if it didn't oxidize on you then you're probably fine. I keep the pH under 7.This thread has been an awesome guide. I just made my first batch. I’ll leave it in the fridge for a few days and then give it a try.

Awesome! I will report back in a few days.I could be wrong about this but I'd say if it didn't oxidize on you then you're probably fine. I keep the pH under 7.
Looks to be fine! I have felt nothing. Small amount yesterday morning and a little more this morning and I have not had any issues.I could be wrong about this but I'd say if it didn't oxidize on you then you're probably fine. I keep the pH under 7.
I never got a headache but I started slow. Started out 100mg a few times a week and slowly ramped up to 200-400mg/day.I am up to a milliliter a day which is 176mg a day, this is because I tested the displacement. Injection site is fine but I am getting a pretty consistent headache. I saw that this was a side effect of glutathione. Does this go away or is there a way to stop it?
How long do you think it took you to get to 200/day?I never got a headache but I started slow. Started out 100mg a few times a week and slowly ramped up to 200-400mg/day.
Quality of the raws maybe? I know some are using bulk supplements as their raw source. I'm using belle chemical which is pharma grade.I am up to a milliliter a day which is 176mg a day, this is because I tested the displacement. From my notes looks like 3 weeks. That wasn't necessarily intentional but idk maybe it helped. How long do you think it took you to get to 200/day?
It is belle for the reduced glutathione and sodium hydroxide. I think I got it from your recommendation to someone else.Quality of the raws maybe? I know some are using bulk supplements as their raw source. I'm using belle chemical which is pharma grade.

I experienced a big difference as well. General inflammation, some low grade pain and stiffness, as well as a plantar fasciitis issue I was dealing with went away.It is belle for the reduced glutathione and sodium hydroxide. I think I got it from your recommendation to someone else.
There might be something to it because the headaches have scaled with the dose. I am upping my hydration also.
I notice a difference taking it though. Almost to the point of making the headaches worth it.
My mood and mental clarity have been really good. Inflation wise, I am dealing with a bad bulging disc but I had a really good week. Even did some light sparring. Although I am paying for it today. lolI experienced a big difference as well. Another thought on the headaches. Herx reaction? I really have no idea just throwing it out there.
