Yeah, I’ve heard about his book but haven’t bought it yet since I haven’t gone too deep into GH, and for now, the info available on this forum is more than enough. If it ever pops up on Amazon, I might pick it up. If I remember correctly, he mentioned that GH is best taken in the morning before fasted cardio for better fat-burning effects, which makes sense considering the increased lipolysis in a fasted state.
As for potential issues with blood glucose and neuropathy, from what I’ve seen, GH-related nerve issues are mostly due to fluid retention causing nerve compression, especially in areas like the wrists and hands (which explains the carpal tunnel symptoms). This effect is dose-dependent and usually subsides within a few weeks as the body adapts. Some manage it by splitting doses, lowering sodium intake, or using low-dose metformin or GLP-1 agonists if insulin resistance or inflammation is a concern.
Regarding blood glucose, I’m currently on Tirz 7.5mg, so I have some control there, but I’m primarily using it for its other beneficial effects rather than weight management. If glucose control is a concern, some people here use 2.5mg to help with inflammation and metabolic support, but for anything GLP-1-related, it’s best to ask
@Ghoul directly.
Last night, instead of sticking with 2.5iu, I went up to 3iu before bed and experienced pretty severe carpal tunnel syndrome, but only in my right hand. Same thing happened when I first started at 2iu, but it resolved in a few days, so I’ll see if this follows the same pattern. I might try splitting my dose to 1.5iu in the morning and 1.5iu in the evening next week to see if that helps minimize the sides.
