IM Injection 27g 1/2" vs 1"

Damn. I've heard of people using 31g needles but i bet you don't feel shit with these. the 27G never gave me an issue though.

I'd imagine you can warm the oils up a bit, draw and easily inject with this gauge of needle and not feel shit. Might try this out.
This is exactly what I do I warm up the oils
Castor oil - 28/30g (0.3ml) 10 - 15 seconds
MCT / EO - 32g (0.3ml) few seconds
Aren't the needles more prone to bending?
i use 30g backfilled with heated oil.
ive tried 31 but its so thin i was worried it'll bend when i pin it
I use them orange insulin 8mm needles sometimes the built in ones they do bend if your injection technique is bad (go in slow feel each layer of skin twist once you poke the muscle ) and you’ll be good
the rest of the needles even the 32g that I have in the photo are stronger just go in slow it won’t bend.

For 30G MCT 1ml usually takes me <10s as long as the oil is heated.

Ghoul listed on thats 0.2mm earlier (invisible needle) that goes 9mm deep.
i found one thats 34G, I think its .16mm? (Not sure), but it goes 13mm deep (1/2").

They're all very expensive..not sure if its safe to pin >1.5ml in such a small area too...

lower your bf and enjoy those lovely 32g butterfly needles
Sometimes I wonder if I injected or forgot

After teading this post i bought some 30g 1in for Im pep injections... works good for that.(just not for oils over 1ml) Also broke down and bout a few hundred BD 1lm and 3ml syringes vs the excel I use.. The 1ml are very good rigs, 3ml good as well but not as good as not having dead space like the excel and Nipro.
I will be hooked on the BD 1ml verdict still out on the 3ml BD vs excel just for the dead space issue

Good call on lesser dead soace with 3ml nipro.

The 1ml BD syringes use a 3ml size barrel and thicken the walls down to 1ml in space. Crystal clear and something about the thickness makes it smoother when injecting. A very "premium" feel. They don't cost any more than other name brands, so it's a cheap luxury that makes the ritual a little more pleasurable. (it's often cheaper with a needle than without, for some reason).

"Unique integrated Luer-Lok tip syringe with clear polycarbonate barrel. Barrel outer diameter is equal to 3ml syringe & inner diameter is the 1 ml slip-tip syringe"

Yes this is the 1ml I purchased they are very premium feel like you said and they slide well. I will have to use the aspiration method though as they will leave about .03ml which ain't much but still is a per peave of mine.. The Excel 3ml barrel is the best I've found on leaving nothing in the syringe for 3ml.. Any way I literally have a 27 gallon tub full of this shit.. enough for a while but it's better to have than enough good quality tools... I had to school a couple guys recently that were getting their shit from tractor supply.. (22g is the smallest they carry)

Can you please explain further on that? You mean leaving a lil air like some bubbles inside the barrel so you can push all the excess oil from the tip? Or is there another way?

I still haven't used any 3ml syringes yet but i'm ready to pull the trigger on those 3ml BD luer locks and i'd prefer not leaving any excess oil behind if possible. Should i opt for those nipro or excel you saying if they're available here?

Yes sir I was talking about the air bubble methood... I haven't used enought of the bd 3ml ones to tell you for sure,, I can say for sure the excel 3ml are great for no dead space.. picture comparison . The excellent has the extra plunger that really des the trick.. both top quality... I prefer Nipro needles but not their barells 17402673759235882450023137339616.webp17402675936793203938919228707827.webp

you can see the "nipple" at the base of the plunger on this particular brand of excel combo,, I like that option on my syringes so im getting most of the injection volume and not leaving anything behind in the needle hub etc, even though its a minuscule amount," waste not want not " ,, i will swap out for a nipro needle though on this setup, image.webp

Thanks gents, i haven't seen this kind of plunger till now, it's very interesting and clever. It seems i can't find those exels anywhere, not even international through amazon. I found some nipro but not the luer lock ones so i'm gonna get the BD ones and draw some extra oil.

The "dead space" on the BD 3ml is .07 ml

I always pull a little more than needed. Covers any dead space issues. I’m sure I’m injecting a few mg extra each time but my inventory is plentiful. lol
Guys I'll tell you a secret... The ML written on the syringe are calculated with the deadspace in mind for fuck sake lol

Edit: I stand correct it doesn't, my bad
Edit of the edit: I may be correct xD

The dead space on the BD 1ml (and most 1ml) syringes is .05 ml. Needle dead space, typically, is .05 ml.

So with a standard 1ml syringe and needle, it's safe to assume you're losing .1 ml with each injection.

For instance. a 2x a week .4 ml, Test 250 Cyp weekly TRT injection with a luer lock 1ml syringe isn't 200mg, it's 150mg.

Something to keep in mind.
Ok I stand corrected actually the fucking syringe doesn't take in account the dead space..this is retarded tho... Why they don't adjust the lines on the syringe so that if you draw to 2ml for example you have 2.xml and when you inject you automatically inject 2ml?

Anyway one just need to draw a bit of air and the issue is solved

Edit: maybe it does, I'm testing it in few minutes for fuck sake xD

You know what? I am a retard. I went down this rabbit hole a long time ago.

Syringes already account for dead space.

Dead space is only an issue of wasted material, not inaccurate dosing.

So a luer lock syringe and needle "costs" around .1ml of waste with each injection.

If you get 20 trt injections out of a 10ml vial of test using a luer setup, you're losing 2ml, 20%. Not a significant cost, but maybe relevant if shortages get worse and prices rise.

There are near zero waste options, but not worth the trouble and expense to switch for me.
