HGH and Metformin dosage?

@AlexDavis43 you don't control your BG with glp1 right? Only dihydroberb and jardiance?

No GLP1s here

And just to say, I never had creeping blood glucose. I started this protocol (jardiance & berb) as a preventative with hGH.

Jardiance might be unnecessary but I'm keeping it in at 12.5 mg as long as I'm on hGH.

*I'm not hell bent on empagliflozin over dapagliflozin, so if you can find one cheaper...

I was listening to a podcast recently that talked about taking HGH, Metformin, and T4 together is really good. I've been on HGH for a little while now but not the other 2. Anyone got any experience with all 3 simultaneously?
I do. All low dose though.
For me it I take 500 mg metformin daily already.
I was only on 3 to 5 IU HGH per day and added 50 mcg T4 daily.

My bloods came back perfect as far as A1C, Fasting glucose and thyroid levels.

I know there are several out there that claim T4 is dangerous etc. Anything is dangerous if you abuse it and don't realize what you are taking. FFS people can OD on aspirin.

Its like anything else in this game. I just find it funny where people want to draw the line like with T4 but they are good with people taking insulin for example.

I was talking of jardiance not Metformin.

The wasting disposal mechanism of glucose hinder glycogen accumulation in the muscle.

Jardiance is still damn expensive here too :( I need to see if I can find an excuses for my doctor to prescribe it to me.
Without prescription is 65 euro for 1 box of 30 pills.

With prescription is free xD
Every time i buy a new pack it reminds me of your comment, 100 Tabs (25mg), 322€ + 20€ Shipping and 19.90€ prescription. o_O

Alex , Where do you like to keep your fbg ? Mine has creeped up to 90-95 in the a.m., i'm taking 1500 mg of berberine a day, i just started taking 500 mg of Metformin at night trying to get my fbg down some,, Currently taking 5 ius hgh split 2 iu a.m. 3ius p.m.,,

Have you considered using a GLP-1's to keep BG on point, Ateam? I've been on 6iu/PM bolus of Opti GH with the occasional 6iu/early AM dose on heavy cardio days. I take 10mgs Tirz/weekly and 1200mgs of Berberine/daily. This protocol seems to be working for me. My fasted BG is always between 76-90. Admittedly I'm probably not eating enough food during the day and I think that plays a role in my BG being where it's at in the morning. I like to think the Berberine and Tirz play a large role as well. I've seen no need for insulin, yet, and although it's tempting to run, the goal for me is to avoid it for as long as possible. Once I get my next Opti TD I plan to jump to 8iu's and reassess. If anything I might up the Berberine as I try to find ways to get additional calories in.

By all accounts Berberine works great for a lot of guys. I've even read it can be more effective than Metformin but I have no personal experience with it. I also recently added NAC and Astragalus to my supplement stack -this is my first run with NAC. I recently read that studies show both NAC & Astragalus can aid in keeping BG levels stable.

As an aside, I've been tempted to run insulin because of its anabolic effect but I'm also hesitant to include it when it's not yet necessary. Maybe if I get up to 10iu's of GH, eat more calories and notice a shift in resting BG I'll consider adding it. I imagine I'd have to remove the Tirz and Berberine if I ever do run the insulin.

You don't need to remove either, you don't want to. Insulin will increase your insulin resistance so you definitely want to keep the tirz and berberine

Got it! Thank you, brotha. Having never run insulin before I was a bit concerned I'd be almost too sensitive to it, if running it alongside both the Berberine and GLP-1. What you say makes sense though. I don't see myself running it quite yet but it's definitely been on my radar and when I do eventually get it started I'll be taking baby steps. If I notice major changes in my fasted BG while titrating the GH up above 10iu I plan to do a deep research dive on insulin before pulling the trigger.

Has anyone tried or thought of using ACTOVEGIN in combination with GH?

Seems promising to help with Glucose uptake

What is “Voglibose” that I see being added to Metformin lately? Good for our purposes?

Been seeing one of the “gliptins” added to metformin lately too, wonder who wins that battle
