You say Vietnam caved. Like WTF does US trade with vietnam? Vietnam is begging for removal of tariffs because Nike and other apparel makers divested from china and moved to vietnam. Placing a tariff on Vietnam means Nike and others start losing competitive edge and may resolve to move out to another country facing less tariffs but where they can mass produce stuff for cheap. Why do you think Nike stock took a hit?
