My knees are showing some early signs of cartilage thinning and, as I have already had a hip replacement, I'd like to do everything I possibly can to keep my joints healthy for as long as possible. I know that Deca can relieve joint pain (and presumably protect joints) as it raises the amount of synovial fluid in the joints.
With this in mind, I'd like to add in Deca on top of TRT in a sustainable way (i.e., something I can continue to use long-term without cycling on and off). Currently on 140 mg/wk of test cyp (taken sub-Q every other day) as well as 20 mg of Anavar/day, which puts my total T and estradiol at the high normal range and my free T slightly above the normal range. Been doing this for about a year and my lipids, blood pressure, and liver enzymes are all fine.
Can I just add 70 mg/wk of Deca? Should I replace some of my Test with Deca? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
To be clear, I mostly am interested in the joint-protective benefits of Deca. But, to the extent I can leverage it for additional muscle growth, all the better. Obviously, no matter what I do, I will continue to monitor lipids, blood pressure, and liver enzymes.
