Syringe plunger dissolving/melting?

Anyone seen this happen before?

Noticed black residue whilst filtering and traced it to the rubber in the plunger dissolving.
Tested with 3 syringes and it easily dissolved the rubber in all of them.
Nipro 3mls.
Oil should be BA/BB/MIG840, no Guai.

Damn, that's scary looking. Why the small syringe though. I usually see folks filtering with 50 ML or 60 ML syringes.

Was not filtering much..20-30ml.
3ml is like pushing water.

In my early days of TRT when I was dumber than I am now I prefilled syringes. One of the plungers on a luer lock syringe completely broke off after being prefilled 7 days. I’m thinking BA and carrier oil was the culprit.

But you are having it occur immediately which is strange. Nipro makes quality syringes so I doubt that’s the issue.

100% the quality of that syringe.
I have had gear and even straight up bb sit in syringes and never once did it break down for weeks.

It's not for a fetch to assume you got a bad batch. However, you did get it from medlab, so it is confusing..
I suggest you try a different brand. Rule out the possibility.
I have done all kinds of crazy things to my syringes. even straight up acetone..... They didn't break down like that.

Injectable oral with no guaiacol? How does it hold? Is it the miglyol then? Many guys including me have used pre filled syringes after 2 weeks and rubber was intact.

solvents like ethyl oleate and possibly guaiacol can dissolve stoppers and its often used with injectable orals and high concentration gear.

Yeah but it doesn't dissolve it instantly or in like 10 minutes. You can draw and inject without any issue whatsoever

If you try a different brand, and it still does that, I would not inject any of it. What ever it is, it would seem to be incredibly acidic. If it could do that to rubber, imagine what it could do to muscle tissue.

If you're home brewing this (just assuming), have you used that BA/BB/MIG840 in any of your other home brews? If so, and no issues, then I'd say it has to be the raw powder. Maybe brew up a bit of Test with the same ingredients to compare.

It looks like some plungers are made of polystyrene..which is dissolved by BA or BB.
