Reta + Glow update

Quick update on the Reta/Glow cycle. While discussing topics in other threads, some members showed interest in this.

I started Reta a few months ago and worked the dose up, eventually getting to 10mg per week. Every 2 weeks I added 2mg. I’ve stopped at 10 for now because it is effective and I don’t feel the need to increase- Bot yet anyhow.

The second week was the hardest- this must be when saturation is enough you start to “feel” the effects. The worst part was the bloating/burps/farts. Sorry I know that is gross but it is the truth. This went away by week 3.

I noticed weight start to come of once I hit 6mg per week. At 8mg per weeks I noticed skin irritation/sensitivity around my belt line (like where the elastic from your boxers rubs your waist). This lasted about 2 weeks and has since went away.

The Glow was added July 9th. It is much harder to give anecdotal feedback on this one… I can’t watch it work on a scale for instance. I noticed I haven’t had a sunburn on it- could be coincidence or it could be the blend.

If anyone has an idea how I can give a “feelz” report on Glow, please chime in.

Reta at 10mg/week makes sense if you’re seeing results and sides are tolerable. But Glow?

Honestly, unless you’re tracking something measurable, it’s kind of just vibes. "Not getting sunburned" isn’t data

I agree. I don’t have any way of knowing if the Glow is actually working. That’s why I’m asking for ideas. I’m almost at 1 month on Glow. I’ll keep running it and update again later on.

Maybe share your experience with using it.
Does it sting? Any lumps? pip?
Yeah, good idea.

A lot of people on tik tok say the GHK-Cu (copper) part of the glow stings. I feel absolutely no pain, there are no lumps, and no pip. I’ve been pinning subcutaneously around the belt line/waist area.

Since July 9, I’ve started mixing the glow and reta into the same syringe and pinning everyday. The dosage is as follows:

15 iu of Reta which in this case is 1.5mg
10 iu of Glow which in this case is 3.5mg Ghk-cu, 1mg BP-157, and 500mcg TB500.

To get this concentration I’ve been reconstituting Reta10 with 1ml bac water and Glow50 with 1ml bac water.

I wouldnt mix them in the same syringe.

GLP-1s dont mix well with other peptides even short term. Allegedly. Im basing this off of something @Ghoul had said, so he can probably explain this better.

There are a number of interactions that can degrade peptides when they're mixed.

For starters, is the PH the same for all?

Unlikely. A small shift in PH can cause major degradation for some peptides.

Even Cagri-Sema was designed to be dispensed by a special 2 chamber pen. They're not just mixed together.

Unless you know for certain they're compatible, it's better not to. If you will anyway, don't store them mixed to minimize the amount of time they spend in the same solution.

I have heard this before and I can share what I saw a few days ago.

I tried mixing 15iu of Reta and 10iu of glow in an empty vial to see what would happen. Nothing happened immediately.

I let it sit overnight. The next morning it did change. The combination made something fall out of suspension. It looked like it does right after you add the bac water, but before you roll it around. Like when it’s 90% dissolved but a few clumps have to get mixed in.

It was easy to get back into suspension by just rolling and twirling the vial. After it was mixed I pinned it and no issues.

So I’m thinking it’s 100% true that SOME peptides cannot be combined. We just need to identify which ones.

From what I saw, it seems Reta and Glow can be pinned together but we should not premix a blend and use it for the next week.

Agreed. From what I saw we should not blend Reta and Glow in the same vial. I saw what happens with my own eyes, and at a molecular level… who knows.

A few posts above this, you said you had some sensitivity around the belt line?
Oh yes. I see how this looks. Poor reporting on my part.

The skin sensitivity is not directly at injection points, but mostly near the kidney area and side of hips where your belt would rub. Like the elastic from my boxers was irritating the area, especially while driving.

I’ve been on 10mg for a few weeks now and no longer have the sensitivity. I should mention it was never very intense. Almost felt like you were wearing scratchy clothing or something. Very easy to ignore/deal with.

Out of curiosity, what is your training like? 6mg seems awfully high before noticing any weight loss. I've never gone above 4 mg and I lost 45 lbs. over a three month period but I was doing crazy amounts of cardio and strength training at the time.

Adrenalytic, thanks for asking this. It makes me realize I never went over what I do or how I do it. Here is a little about my training and diet:

First and foremost I don’t really have much weight I can lose. I would guess I’m about 10-12% BF. It’s hard to tell but I don’t think I’m in single digits. Some people prefer Reta over sema or tirz because it doesn’t destroy your appetite. I am trying Reta for fat loss rather than weight loss if that makes sense.

I try to train everyday. When I wake up, I gauge which muscle group feels fresh and I focus on that/those. When I am too tired or sore everywhere, I walk on the treadmill instead. I train for an hour most mornings before the sun even comes up. Rest days are rare, 1-2 a month. I will not work out if I am on vacation.

We eat very clean at home. Dinner will look something like baked chicken and a green vegetable. Not a lot of snacking.

I meal prep all my meals I eat at work. I’ve literally been eating the same thing, every work day, for a few years now. 4 eggs + 2 slices toast, 8oz sirloin steak(no sides just mea)t, 1cup Greek yogurt + 1cup oatmeal, 8oz chicken breast(no sides). “Snacks” are an apple and a banana.——— I weigh my food, that’s how bad this got lol. I also drink 2 protein shakes and eat a bowl of cereal before bed.

Approx macros:
2500 calories, 265g protein, 225g carbs, 45g fat.

I’ve been doing the above diet for years now and I feel great. I wanted to see what Reta would do. Without adjusting my diet, I lost about 7 lbs.

Also, great job losing 45 lbs. I think you would of did it either way, but this Reta sure speeds things up!

Thanks for the context, brother. I'm coming off a bulk and just started my second round of reta today. As I mentioned, I used it to great effect when I actually had a lot of fat to lose. Now that I'm down to a more reasonable bf % I suspect it will be a little harder this time around but 7 lbs. is still pretty good if you're already lean, assuming there was no muscle loss. Did all of your lifts remain the same?

Yes, all my lifts remained the same. I’m REALLY liking the Reta.

If you’ve ever tried ephedrine, clen, albuterol, or DNP you know how shitty you feel. Reta ain’t so bad!

I figured you did the Reta after a bulk. Such a useful tool to have.

Nah, last November I started reta weighing 230 lbs. looking like this:

1754960316601.webp

3 months later got me to this @182 lbs.:

1754960409507.webp

Now I'm 220 jacked but I could stand to lose 15ish lbs for maximum shred:

1754960062495.webp

But yea, safe to say reta changed my life or at least played a part.
