Reta + Glow update

Quick update on the Reta/Glow cycle. While discussing topics in other threads, some members showed interest in this.

I started Reta a few months ago and worked the dose up, eventually getting to 10mg per week. Every 2 weeks I added 2mg. I’ve stopped at 10 for now because it is effective and I don’t feel the need to increase- Bot yet anyhow.

The second week was the hardest- this must be when saturation is enough you start to “feel” the effects. The worst part was the bloating/burps/farts. Sorry I know that is gross but it is the truth. This went away by week 3.

I noticed weight start to come of once I hit 6mg per week. At 8mg per weeks I noticed skin irritation/sensitivity around my belt line (like where the elastic from your boxers rubs your waist). This lasted about 2 weeks and has since went away.

The Glow was added July 9th. It is much harder to give anecdotal feedback on this one… I can’t watch it work on a scale for instance. I noticed I haven’t had a sunburn on it- could be coincidence or it could be the blend.

If anyone has an idea how I can give a “feelz” report on Glow, please chime in.

Nah, last November I started reta weighing 230 lbs. looking like this:

3 months later got me to this @182 lbs.:

Now I'm 220 jacked but I could stand to lose 15ish lbs for maximum shred:

But yea, safe to say reta changed my life or at least played a part.
how much reta you on? thats crazy af

also I'm using GHKCU, been doing around 3.75mg per day
i think the first few days I was getting some purple marks and pip but i havent gotten anymore recently, also in waistline kind of near vgs or top of glutes

also probably make sure you get enough copper dietarily because ghkcu increases the transportation of copper so if there isnt enough in serum its probably not good

Hold up... Weighing your food is step 1, right? What do you mean that's how "bad" this got?

How do you know what diet you've been doing if you haven't been weighing your food?
What I mean is how strict I’ve gotten with my diet. A few years back I bought a scale instead of eyeballing things. You know, cutting a pound steak in half and all that.

Most people don’t weigh thier food. Even out of the people who go to the gym, most of them don’t weigh their food either. L

I guess as you get more serious, at some point you realized you need to measure everything and track it.

Oh yes. I see how this looks. Poor reporting on my part.

The skin sensitivity is not directly at injection points, but mostly near the kidney area and side of hips where your belt would rub. Like the elastic from my boxers was irritating the area, especially while driving.

I’ve been on 10mg for a few weeks now and no longer have the sensitivity. I should mention it was never very intense. Almost felt like you were wearing scratchy clothing or something. Very easy to ignore/deal with.

I had the skin sensitivity over 4mg and at 6mg it went worse but didn't subside. I had it all over my body from head to toe. I couldn't stand even my gf petting me or giving me a massage, it was annoying af haha. Once i dropped the dose it went away.

Have you tried upping it again since?

I started at 2mg/wk but never needed more than 4mg. Everyone talks about reta being a mild appetite suppressant but it crushes mine to the point that eating becomes a task rather than something enjoyable. Hyper responder I guess?

But like I said, I was doing a LOT of cardio to lose the weight (5-8 miles daily of HIIT). Don't get it twisted, reta helped support the weight loss but getting my fat ass up and moving was the true catalyst.

Quick update:
Still running Reta @ 1.5mg/day and Glow @ 3.5mg Ghk-cu, 1mg BP-157, and 500mcg TB500 per day.

Monday was the first day of test/primo/npp. The previous test/tren/mast cycled ended a week before this (most successful cycle I ran so far, and I run that one every year).

Tuesday, I switched my diet up a bit for the upcoming fall and winter. Upped the calories per day by increasing carbs and fat a bit. I did this by swapping out the sirloin and chicken meals for ground beef and rice.

It looks like my weight is down another lb over the past two weeks. I expect weight loss to stop/slow very soon because of the increase in water weight (higher test and NPP will add a hit of water- also a bit more calories). I would imagine fat loss will continue at a slowed rate though.

I do feel like the Glow anti-inflammatory effects finally started kicking in at the beginning of August… so anecdotally it seems like 3 weeks to get some relief from BPC and TB.

If anyone can can share their experience with the anti-inflammatory effects of these two peptides, please share… it will help other members when they research.

Thanks

This is awe-inspiring work my man. Especially in that time frame. Would love to see a thread walking through your protocol and whatnot. Like an after-the-fact cycle log.

By the way, did you see significant loose skin making that big loss in 3 months?

Thanks brother! It was hard work for sure. There's not much to tell re: protocol. It was literally "inject 2 mg of reta, inject 2 IU of GH, lift weights, get on the treadmill and work your ass off". I used SLU-PP-332 but I can't say it did anything (the dosing protocol going around at the time was like 250 mcg which, as we know now, is way too little for any effect) and MOTS-C. The MOTS-C gave me energy for days so I could handle 1 hour lifting, 1 hour hard cardio no problem. Highly recommend that peptide to anyone on the fence. At the time I was using 5 mg EOD which is probably overkill. I do 1mg a day now and the benefit feels the same.

I was probably burning 800-1,000 kcals through exercise a day and eating between 1600-2200. Not the safest thing in retrospect (I did lose muscle along the way but it was mostly towards the end when I really started to lean out) but it worked for me.

Once I got lean, I dropped the reta and raised kcals to around 3200/day and got back to my pre-weight-loss strength in about 2 months. Then the gear started and the rest is history.

Happy to answer questions if you have specifics but as far as rehashing that entire phase, I didn't keep very good shot records back then. I do have all my food and workout logs if you're curious about specifics. Just ask or DM.

How big of a roll would you say 2iu of gh played?

If you would have asked me that at the time I was losing I would have said it was a major player but looking back, not so much.

I made this scatter plot of my weight loss (starting in March 2024) all the way up to today. The time that I started GH did not show any significant weight loss amplification. You can see the slope remains pretty steady decline after GH is introduced.

Funny thing, placebo.

Disregarding scale weight, do you think the GH improved your body composition?

I started GH and haven't seen the scale change much, but I notice loosing fat in my lower and side chest, and back of my waist. I look different every morning. But the scale isn't really budging.

Yes, I do believe it played a role but I'll never know how much since I was absolutely busting my ass at the same time. I mainly began using GH for the skin tightening benefits/anti-aging. I still use it to this day and my stomach looks less and and less like a one-eyed Scream mask every day.

Here is a pic right after the weight loss (and roughly 1 month after beginning HGH). You can compare this to my first set of pics and decide for yourself if the GH "recomp effect" is real.

And here's a pic from last week (about 6 months post weight loss, 7 months post HGH, and 4 months post GHK-Cu use)

Obviously the increased muscle mass helps fill out the skin and I'm flexing here but the difference in skin texture is noticeable. I'm currently cutting again to try and lose that last bit of fat on my tits and back (my body loves to store fat there for some annoying ass reason).

It's a slow process but I'm going to stay the course for at least another year before I consider surgical options. Even ordered a quality red light therapy fixture to test that out.

How long before you started noticing the energy effects of MOTS-c? Any issues with sleep?
