These are my results from being on 2mgs/week retatrutide for 9 weeks and 200mgs testosterone.
-Triglycerides cholesterol- down
-LDL -down
-A1c 5.0
-Dropped 33lbs
-Blood pressure has dropped from 130/82
106/64 (been continuously taking 20mgs Telmisartan to even prior to taking Reta and my bp was around 120/78)
-Cardio 5x/week 30mins
-weights 6x/week
-cals 2500 training days 2300 non training day

Particular supplements taking on top of my regulars to support Reta are: Tudca, fibre, probiotic, digestive enzymes, glutamine

** My issue is my lipase was above the limit at 125 and should be under 75. I’ve always been around 45 in the past now my doctor wants me to see a gastroenterologist just to be safe. Has any of you noticed increase lipase and did it get worse or is this just an artificial high from the Reta?

Nicely done. What are your plans for here on out? Switch to lean bulk/recomp mode?
Thank you.
I’ve now added hgh starting at 2ius just to try and avoid water retention working my way up to 6ius, 50mgs of anavar per day trying to harden out just a little more then go into a lean muscle building phase. It’s shocking though when you really do a deep cut and realize how much weight you could actually loose. If my lipase doesn’t go up I’d like to continue Reta at a lower dose just for all the improved health markers.

I really don’t get how Reta works. Like I’m lean and it’s a chore to eat anyway for me. Been like that my whole life. Always been under 14%. Have been as low as 6. Would I benefit from trying like 1/2mg twice a week. It seems to help so much with blood markers. And also insulin sensitivity. As I get older my body doesn’t respond the same to food. I used to fill out so easily. Idk. I’m 37. 195. 6ft. Been as big as 225. Competed peeled at 192. Would something like Reta just make me not eat at all and lose muscle???

Probably not. You likely produce high levels of GLP and/or have excellent sensitivity to it, giving you an appetite that taps out before overeating (as it should) , and is even insufficient for the calorie intake you need sometimes, making eating difficult.

The good news is the rest of your health is probably benefitting from what amounts to a natural "GLP dose". What health markers are looking bad?

As far as not growing from food intake, anabolic resistance and declining protein synthesis is a thing with aging.

An anti aging dose of GH could go a long way in reversing that decline. It increases anabolic receptor density, boosts protein synthesis. improves nutrient absorption by renewing gut tissues, and lowers systemic inflammation by preventing absorption of endotoxin by the same gut renewal (seals the aging, increasingly porous "leaky gut")

Did you experience any side effects such as nausea or stomach pain after injecting the product during the week?
no just a dip in appetite and slow gastric emptying with a slight pressure where my pancreas is located. That got me worried because you hear about pancreas issues with Reta. I had blood work done and my lipase was slightly elevated but nothing to worry about anyways supplements I’ve incorporated to help and they have (I have no issues now trying 4mgs a week). Probiotic/digestive enzymes/glutamine/fibre/boswellia serrata.

Lipase being up in this case is a good thing. It will drop when your visceral fat goes down.

GLP isn't the point of retatrutide. Its effect on GLP is miniscule compared to sema.

Look into GIP receptors
GIPR is involved in key physiological processes, including the regulation of insulin secretion, positive regulation of cAMP-mediated signaling, and the response to glucose and nutrients.
And GCG receptors
It promotes glycogenolysis (the breakdown of glycogen into glucose) and gluconeogenesis (the synthesis of glucose from non-carbohydrate sources) in the liver, thereby increasing blood glucose levels to counteract hypoglycemia. Beyond its role in glucose regulation, GCGR activation increases the breakdown of lipids (lipolysis) and amino acids, and promotes ketone body production, contributing to energy mobilization. Paracrine interactions between pancreatic alpha and beta cells, mediated by glucagon signaling, are crucial for regulating insulin secretion and maintaining the body's glycemic set point.
Meaning, it fixes problems with insulin resistance, fat breakdown/fat storage, and protein utilization. It optimizes your metabolism into a steady state.

tl;dr Better mpg, you basically only eat to top off the tank.

Did you stay at 2mg/week the entire time or did you titrate up weekly to a higher dose? I know the clinical trials recommend titrating up as the weeks go on. I’m looking at starting soon and was looking for feedback.

Thank you.

I wouldnt recommend Anavar without Test.
2mg reta, 3~4iu gh, 150mg test is as amazing “cycle”, i would do that for some time before orals or other compounds

I run 2.5iu sero everything. My hdl and ldl looking to get better. My health markers are pretty good. I mean I guess I’m comparing myself to how I was mid 20s. A lot of my “muscle wasting” could be from stress as I age and deal with life issues and trying to start up a business while maintaining my day job. The diff between early 30s and late 30s has been significant. I mean I used to maintain a lean 210+ with no gh on say 300 mg test. Now with the gh and same dose. 280 to be exact I’m slowly losing weight and strength. Now granted I’m not locked in like I was. I just notice the food I used to eat would fill me out in what seemed like minutes. Now I need a whole weekend lmao. Idk the “increased insulin sensitivity” seemed intriguing. Also as you know my bp. I was hitting 125/78 after dropping amlodipine and teli. But hitting am cardio and 10 walks after meals. Been slacking on the cardio again. Around 135/80 again.

Week 1 - 1mg split (1/2 mg Wednesday and 1/2 mg Saturday)
Week 2 to 3 - went to 1mg twice a week and stayed there because I felt my cravings slow down and I was loosing weight but that was in combination with my diet and training.
Stayed on 2mgs for the next 9 weeks them had blood work.
I now am at 4 mgs a week to try it out and I can say at least for me it has built up that this is the lowest cals I’ve ever ate and feel fine. I usually have a higher calorie carb up day on Monday nothing extreme but I can tell you I get full much faster and if there’s a lot of fats involved you will get bloated and have stomach extension for a few hours.
