Rekindling My Lust for Life: A Fairy's HRT Log

yeah 1 vial is a 100 week supply, not much use for a kit i suppose. The vial is a lot easier than the ampules..

But, with pharma you know exactly what you are getting per dose.

Perhaps ordering a sterile vial to load the ampules into a couple at a time would be ideal.

SSA reimburses testing.
Buy, send for testing, get credit for it.
Then buy more stuff using the credit.

Pharma has variances too, up to 10% is acceptable.
But yes, one is CN oil, one is Pharma oil..

One is UGL, could be some clown rubbing their butt cheeks all over your gear.

one is made in a proper factory.

SSA is a boiler room full of handicapped phone correspondents. They could middle man gear from who knows where. Could be good, maybe not.

Buy one vial, dilute it down to the concentration you want, the filtering in this process takes care of butt check juice. Then sent a sample of your diluted gear to jano.

This forum is full of guys injecting multiple CC’s of this stuff without even taking the precautions listed above.

I think you might find that your pharma gear isn’t as clean as you think either.

If for daily injections yeah probably would require diultion to turn 1mg into 1ml from 0.1ml.

We are supposed to be filtering ampules anyways to remove the glass particles after snapping them.

there's really only 2 main ones on here..

1 vial a week, 52 weeks in a year.. Around 250usd with shipping for a year supply.

The progesterone tablets. 4-5 dollars for 10.. is you needed 24 pills/month 290pills =29 blisters around 150usd
year supply roughly 400usd.

I removed the details of which source this is, but a few clicks around and you can find it.

edit* these are 10mg.. maybe..their website has no picture to confirm. would need to ask them.
Shiddd I know I checked with them. Was either out of stock at the time or I’m blind. Tyfys

I’m good with what we have. Injecting a very low volume of oil (the first tick on the syringe) is preferable for me. Not having to filter out glass particles from an ampoule, also preferable. Lots of people do it this way, it’s fiiiiiine.

Of course! I got my blood work pulled on day 3 of my cycle (follicular phase).
Total test: 15.7 ng/dL
Free test: 1.1 pg/mL
Sensitive e2: 13.3 pg/mL
Progesterone: 0.3 ng/mL
DHEA: 158 ng/dL
LH: 3.8 mIU/mL
FSH: 10.2 mIU/mL
TSH: 1.74 uIU/mL

The reason I’m jumping straight to DIY is cost, really. I have heard great things about Defy and also about Hormonesforme (I’ve watched Ryan Root on YouTube and he clearly knows his shit.)

Thank you
Hey, I’m a woman in peri and on hrt. I’ll be 43 next week and started hormones right after turning 41. It’s been great! I’ve tracked symptoms/cycles for almost 15y and looking back definitely hit peri mid 30s. It started with shitty sleep, but I had a 3yo and 4 other boys, then so figured it was that

Your estrogen is low, but it’s supposed to be low on day 3. Mine has been anywhere from 25pg/ml to high 100s when testing. To get the progesterone you’d want to test it closer to say 21, that’s when it peaks.

I am getting ready to leave town, so might disappear, but wanted to share my experience. I use Defy and am on injections for estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. Actually just had a follow up yday. Starting out with 2mg a week is on the higher end, because we do still make some hormones so a surge can push you high. I was told we’d start at 1mg a week then titrate up if symptoms persisted after 6-8 weeks.

I started having bleeding every 2 weeks at 1mg split twice a week. It got to the point that even doing .25mg would make bleeding restart within a few hours. After 1.5mos of that, I quit the E altogether and waited for progesterone injx I’d gotten from India pharm to come in. I ordered it on my own because the wait for Defy was over a month out. I had a normal cycle and restarted both the prog and e injx. I was already on 300mg oral p and had tried using it vaginally without success. I didn’t tell Defy what I did afa sourcing progesterone on my own, but told them I wanted to switch to injx and why.

All that said, after I started the e injx initially, aside from the bleeding, I felt amazing. I’d been on e patches and switched because I quit absorbing them and started reacting to the adhesive. Adding test onto things made a huge difference. I never got enough lubrication from e alone, and even using lube sucked. Test fixed that completely and I don’t even need lube anymore. I also use Bezwecken suppositories to help with feeling like I need to pee when I don’t. It’s like uti symptoms but not a uti. The Bezweken dhea is double the dose of rx Intrarosa, so I either cut it in half, or dose every other day while using the Bezwecken estriol/dhea combo. I also like a cream called Vulva Dose for outside use. Reg rx e cream helped some initially, but didn’t last. I still use it though.

Did you check your thyroid? Mine crapped out mid 30s with Hashi’s, but I only had to go on meds after 40.

Also my husband uses hormones for me and likes them. He’s got a Facebook group and the women who use them have had a good experience. When I compared them to Defy the pricing was pretty close, but HFM was cheaper.

I haven't read the whole thread if ugl is a requirement but my wife is in the same boat. She got prescribed estrodial and progesterone from her obgyn. Very easily actually. The Estrodial is a transdermal patch. She's been pretty happy with them so far.

Could be an option. The P she takes orally. Eventually they also prescribed Test which was a cream. We instead put her on test prop EOD. So far so good.

I had my shit tested again on day 21, my progesterone came back in the middle of normal range, still waiting on the sensitive e2 results though. I’m trying to get my hands on some .3cc syringes that have half ticks on them to get me by until my 10mg/mL Cyp gets here.

I did have a thyroid panel done and everything came back good. I gotta get back to work so I’ll come back to this when I can.

Yeah it’s not in my budget to see a doctor or specialist for this so I’m just hackin it on my own. I know there will be some trial and error (already thinking about pausing after my second injection yesterday, and waiting for a lower dose bottle to come in.) From everything I’ve read about the patches, they can be great at first, but then people stop absorbing them as well, and they go through them too quickly, aren’t getting consistent dosing, etc. Lots of women in the subreddits ended up switching to injections and have no desire to go back, so I’d rather skip all of that and use the method that will keep me the most stable as well as having the most adjustability. It just works better for my lifestyle.

The P that I’m waiting on is bioidentical and will be rubbed into my gums to get it straight into the bloodstream. I’ve read too many horror stories about women wanting to unalive themselves with oral P and I already know I am sensitive to P. Oral P is the last option for me.

Once I get these two figured out, I’ll be introducing Test C into the mix. I cannot wait to get to that part.

Glad it’s working out for your lady :)

I didn't know that about the patches. I know there is a ton of data at Reddit. Hard to wade through. My wife is mostly a set it and forget it type. She won't mess with things unless they are obviously off.

Were you able to source injectable estradiol here? I'd love a US domestic source but only found one CN source so far.

The high-dosed E Val is from Turkish pharma, but their domestic warehouse. I didn’t realize how difficult that would be to work with when we got it, and I don’t think that’s the ester I really want either. Shorter half-life, quick to peak. The 10mg/mL vial of E Cyp on the way is not domestic, unfortunately. Probably the same one you were looking at. But the cyp is what I really need for the sake of keeping levels as stable as possible.

Finally got my sensitive e2 results back from Day 21. Below range for the second time. E being the only hormone I am officially deficient in: confirmed. I am going to wait on the Test Cyp before I do any more injections, because I believe my initial plan of 2mg/week (split in two doses) was a bit ambitious. I’m on day 4 of my period and this has been a particularly crampy/painful period post-injections, and I can’t accurately dose under 1mg at a time with what I have.

So you're saying that 2mg/week is too much for a woman? That's very interesting and helpful to know.
Yeaaaah. The Reddit ladies don’t seem to think it’s a big deal but as someone who is still making my own hormones I’m just worried it might shoot my levels up unnecessarily high. Low and slow is the goal here, just trying to find the minimum dose to feel good and not have all this fucky joint pain. I may end up working my way up to 2mg/week after I restart and titrate up. But this is a marathon, not a sprint :) I don’t wanna fuck up my cycles if I can help it. I’m sensitive to everything, even herbal supplements throw my shit completely out of whack if I’m not careful.

high E2 concentrations in HRT show higher risk of CVD and stroke as well as breast cancer. Studies are showing a lower dosage may have a favorable risk-benefit ratio.
