Anxiety med non SSRI?

Right? But then I catch myself thinking even more about my breathing or how my body feels. Dumb shit haha
I kinda do the same. A certain level of anxiety is probably normal and healthy.

Sometimes I wonder if I have clinical anxiety and then I think about how the buying power of my dollar was stolen by war criminals and my balls might be full of microplastics and my dog is gonna die one day and I realize I probably should be a lil anxious

I thought that might be the case. I use it sparingly. As in, a few times a year.
Yep, special occasion, gotta put on my best performance kind of situations. Absolutely not recommended for athletic performance though, not good for pre-fight jitters - you'll try to shift into 6th gear and just stall the engine.

I be having full on conversations with my self too and then boom our death at anytime can happen

Dont listen to @Ghoul regarding a beta blocker. Thats a short term bandaid for a serious perssitent problem. You dont want a Beta blocker if lifting. That can really strain your heart! It can fuck up your Libido and erections quick and fierce.
I suggest Buspirone . Read up a bit here : Buspar wiki

Good luck and stay safe.

The full context here is OP has a difficult to control RHR problem too which Buspirone won't touch unfortunately.

Propanolol is a cheat code, particularly for public speaking or social anxiety. Repeated use has diminishing returns in my experience.

Gives me rebound anxiety too.

For OP, maybe you can consider slow release gabapentin.
Insurance will most slightly only cover the immediate release, you'd probably need India pharma for the slow release.

Gabapentin SR

I take a low dose of venlafaxine and haven’t had any issues so far. My understanding it’s an snri not a ssri. I took ssri’s briefly when I was younger but they no longer agree with me. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it’ll probably take a little trial and error. That’s all I got

I definitely toke on some lettuce haha. But sometimes it increases my anxiety
Love it before the gym. Takes that slight edge off the pain from hard sets. And the focus is awesome.

Type 3 flower (in contrast to regular, Type 1 flower) can be a lifesaver for relaxation and easing anxiety. It is high CBD, very low THC ("Type 3 flower must contain less than 0.3% THC"). Add in some CBD/CBN isolate powder for increased effects.

May help tremendously with soothing the feelings of acute anxiety along with the experience of acute anxiety. For example anxiety that seems to bring changes to one's breathing, heart beat, physiological (muscle) tensing, general hypervigilance to the immediate surroundings of one's body+mind.

This is the correct answer, if you want something that actually works. For extreme (situational) anxiety, like giving a speech, pairing it with a small dose of a benzo will overcome any amount of fear. And, although i was mocked last time i brought this up, the safest, most functional benzo would be pyrazolam as this is strongly anti anxiety without the drowsiness or amnesia caused by others.
