Maybe shocked? but definitely disappointed hence me having water filtration systems.
The food I can only do so much about. A lot of the protein we eat is wild game I've killed so I'm hopeful that I'm "reducing harm" in both my water and food.
Definitely not "reducing harm" to those poor deer, elk and antelope lol.

I guess I'm confused a bit. Are you arguing that the existence of plastics in our water and food means we should not try to reduce it? Answer if you'd like or don't, as it does not change the fact that I'll try to reduce it where possible. Even in gear no matter how silly that may seem to you.
Don’t get me wrong. You should work to reduce it. I also filtrate my water, avoid water in plastic bottles, avoid using plastic utensils and kitchenware, etc. But we don’t have the tools to measure or detect nanoplastics and most filtration systems do a poor job of removing microplastics. And recent studies show we already have tons of plastic in our bodies. But that doesn’t stop me from drinking water or eating food. I damn sure am not going to throw it out even though I know for certain most meats and vegetables have plastics them.

And I’m not testing every vial I own or throwing it out on the off chance they contain plastics.

I don't have that power. Not an admin. The posts have already been made.

Thanks for honestly admitting you are serious. Actual plastic additive/monomer (?) found in the gear and wait for it ... "nothing to see here, move along". Inject it into your body? Sure, full send.

Appreciate you sharing.
You have the power to start a new thread and move your testing discussions there. But you will not because your posts, your agenda and the readalot show will receive less attention. The one person who doesn’t use Primal’s gear has taken over Primal’s thread.

I agree with not throwing out gear, but I'm all for minimizing plastics in future purchases.

Ok so regarding the moving the goalposts comment, is that referring to that once we have tests showing undesirable "contaminants", we don't say hey can that stuff be removed?
If that is moving the goalposts, is it your preference that we don't now ask for improvement (should not move the goalposts)?

So are you for better filters, stoppers, etc. even with a cost increase of a few dollars?
It's just odd to me that people keep commenting on this. It feels like pushback. I wish people would just flat out say don't change the equipment even at a small cost increase, keep the plastic I like it like that.
Or like some of us are saying, please improve the products in the spirit of harm reduction. Why not align with that??
It sounds like pushback?

When I say moving goalposts I mean exactly this:

Everyday there is a new "thing" that everyone focuses on and then berates the source about changing. "Primal is the best! If only they would improve their labels/stoppers/crimpers/vial glass/PVDF filters/needs a new sweater/looks ugly with a beard/etc."

Endotoxins. Aggregates. Plastics. Etc etc etc. The mob moves onto the next topic.

Personally, I dont care at all. I use stromusc/hepius test for 9 dollars big dog. I like Primals gear and ill continue to buy it when its on sale.

The market decides what will he successful and whats in demand. If Primal wants to stay on top they will be forever indebted to the mob. But spots like QSC? SSA? They'd say "fuck you dear" and keep it pushing. Guess which one was more popular?

A totally reasonable take and I feel we are way more aligned than not. You have always shared a lot of good info here (that I've noticed in my short time here) so I'm thankful for that.

I mentioned I my "throw away gear" comment would sound dramatic but it is frustrating. I like to imagine myself trying to be as healthy as possible but being here means I'm likely doing unhealthy things already (I am lol). Just trying to improve where I can.

Appreciate the reasonable response brother.

Valid point about the mob mentality, I absolutely see that on various posts.

I chimed in here because in my hopes for having at least one source that has the better equipment and testing even if at a higher price point. And you are right in that the market decides. I just figured there could be even more differentiation between vendors/products. "At this price point you get these attributes" and "at this price point this is what you can expect."

None of this is up to me, I wanted to share my preference. Thanks for the response, I get where it's coming from. I have to take breaks from this place sometimes and I often ask why I even allow myself to get sucked into this shit.

Same. Just so you know, when it comes to micro and nanoplastics, I’m about as anal as they come. Hell, I think one of my first posts on this forum was about plastics and not steroids. lol. I’m that crazy guy in the family throwing your plastic stuff away and scaring the crap out of everyone.

So yes, you are I are on the same page.

Bro1 and 2 literally just tried a reality distortion field on you. Lol.

It's interesting that over on another vendors thread, the people not wanting change here are eagerly adding their name to the list of people who want that vendor to make changes. And that same vendor has already upgraded caps and stoppers, much to their praise. Interesting coincidence.

Has anyone every sent in their pharma grade compounded test cyp to Jano?

Serious question, it be interesting to see if they had any type of plastic levels to it and how it compares to UGL suppliers.

@readalot Would that be a dumb idea and if not could ypu walk someone through it that had extra (like myself)?

I believe @TallandSmall did. We tested more accurately and I believe the raw quality was nearly the same?

@TallandSmall could you link/confirm?
