Damn man, we’re only a year apart. Hate to hear it, it’s all too common tbh. I got a fucky disc like 2 months into the job after a firefighter dropped his side of the stretcher off a stoop while loaded with a landwhale, think she’s in the area of 450. Honestly surprised I came out relatively unscathed. I was too scared to go get it scanned so I just dealt with it for a month before finally “fixing” it with a medrol pack. And of course the pt was full of shit, as she continues to be about 3-4 times a month. As much as I love what I do I’m under no illusion that I can maintain this forever. The 20+ year crowd are a miserable bunch, both mentally and physically. It’s fun while it lasts, though. Glad your PT is helping things, maybe you won’t have to go under the knife any time soon. Do you run any special compounds for your back?
